Does work but hard to get a good seal

Preferred over less expensive testers.
This injector tester worked great for my application. Found 1 injector in a 4 cylinder motor that flowed almost twice the others. All injectors were new from the car manufacture. The ability to set both the frequency and pulse width was helpful in verifying the operation of the injectors. For my application, I prefer this unit to less expensive testers.

All though the tool worked well, it would be best to have a helping hand to use safely.
I tried using the injector tester by myself and with only 2 hands to hold it and push the buttons to do the testing, it was hard to keep spraying the injector cleaner through the tool and not all over the place.

Electronics failed within 5 min run time.
I liked the design and the adapters, but then the electronics started to fail after only 5 minutes of total run time.First, the adapters I received worked well as long as I focused on pressing evenly on the top of the can (Gumout Carb and Choke Cleaner.) A helper here would really be beneficial because things can get messy pretty quickly.Problem 1 is that the insulated leads that connect to the injector prongs are too big to fit next to each other. I had to buy my actual injector plug (Bosch EV6) and wire it to the leads on this device. (Small alligator clips could be a cheap workaround.)Once I had everything up and running, I discovered that turning the knob didn’t go back to the previous mode. It cycles through the same modes (5 on my device, 4 by the included instructions) regardless of which direction you turn it. However, pressing the select button did cycle through the options on the currently selected mode.During the critical loss of functionality, (basically not cycling the injector solenoid on and off) and after pressing all buttons to see WTF, I specifically noticed the start/stop button was working intermittently as well.My best guess is that my unit heated up and failed. It did work again for 15 to 30 seconds after being powered down for 5 minutes, but that’s not worth my 30 bucks.
