So far, so good with this laptop. I bought it to replace a 14-inch Dell with no number pad. My first "workstation" laptop. Cleanest refurbished machine I've ever seen. Everything works fine, although the optical drive was touchy the first couple of times I used it. Great picture, lots of storage. A lighted keyboard was a pleasant surprise. It's heavy, though, so if you are looking for a lightweight laptop, pass this one by.

This is a really nice laptop. Came packaged well and exactly as described. Only dislike was I had to clean up some files and go through quite a few software updates before the laptop was ready to use. Works very well and fast now!

While this may be a vintage machine, but it is a beast. Fast, with lots of input/output, DVD burner and more. Sure it's heavy but if you saw what's inside it's understandable. I have two of these laptops and am very happy with them. The only limitations of these machines are that they cannot update to W11 and the graphics cannot run modern gamming programs.The vendor who supplied this refurbished machine delivered a like new machine, updated to W10 and in great time.

Battery would not hold a charge

I had this as a workplace computer, and it was trouble free. I wanted a computer for home use, so I looked for an M4800 and found a refurbished one on Amazon at a very fair price. I am very, very pleased with it. Out of the box it was ready to roll.This unit is being used with a docking station so I can't speak to the battery life issue, however, the unit did come with a spare battery.

This laptop has quite a few unwanted quirks. When a USB is plugged into one of the ports, it occasionally disconnects/reconnects in a cycle until I move it to another port.The battery goes into catastrophic mode on occasion, to which removing the battery and putting it back in resets that. Additionally, the volume will be unreasonably loud, until you adjust the volume (even just a tiny bit) and it finds the appropriate volume.The price is good for the specs on this laptop, but be wary that this “refurbished” product may have been refurbished by some cave people. It is not in a good state.

I bought this for CAD work (SolidWorks & AutoCAD) and the programs run fine. These are refurbished in the States with great customer service. I called the 800 number and actually got to speak to a technician who provided me an adaptor to run two monitors. The only comment I can make is I wish I ordered one with SSD drive, I called the company and they gave me a good price to upgrade the drive and provided shipping both ways. Highly recommend this vendor.

This doesn't make collective sense to me, this operating system (OS), did not come with the original machine which as was a win7 OS. The existing win10 pro OS was post installed deprived of a backup in the event the system crashes or discontinue functioning. So this business installed win10 pro and distributed it with no back up. This might come to be a class action lawsuit if this business is doing this to other customers! I will follow up in receiving some type of media or download with the win10 pro OS it was distributed with along with the product key! I was a Senior System Administrator, I won’t mention the company, and all systems came with some sort of “back up” and a “product key” so… if you have to reinstall the OS and the product key will be for that specific unit. With that being understood, if there should be a problem with this OS, this company declines to “back up” their bootlegged installs! Just reflect… no media… no product key to the OS… again how many other consumers are in this state of affairs?
