Can't Seem to Relax in the Bedroom? THIS WILL HELP!
I'm only three chapters in, so I'll come back and write a final review once I'm actually finished. BUT so far, this book is so so so so so so helpful to me personally. It's difficult for me to relax when my husband and I "do the dirty", because I stress myself to no end that I won't be able to reach orgasm "quickly enough" or that it won't be a "perfect" one. Diana Richardson is helping me SO much to "relearn" how to make love to my husband and thoroughly enjoy the act again by focusing my entire energetic being on the here and now instead of rushing it and causing "friction" (not a good kind, lol) the whole time. Don't let the possibly "new age"ish vibe of what you think you know about Tantra turn you away! The way she explains it is so relatable and makes more and more sense the more I read. Like...it's already making such a huge (and welcomed) difference in the way I approach sex itself in general. Even though I'm only 40ish pages in right now, I wanted to come here and recommend this book to anyone struggling with the same or similar frustrating issues that I've had for years in the bedroom. Also, it's a very easy-to-read style of writing, so I'm sure I'll be done with it in no time. Until then, farewell. x] I hope you find what you're looking for.P.S. I cannot say for sure yet whether this book would be particularly helpful to same-sex partners. While she does not at all appear averse to it, there is a lot of talk about the opposite polarity and balance between "male and female". I'll know more once I'm done! If you've read this far into my review, I hope it was helpful to you in some way at least.

What a beautiful journey.
I just finished this book, my 1st introduction to Tantra. I admit I have thought from time to time about that well-known story about Sting and his wife having the most amazing sex for hours and hours. I finally researched it online a couple weeks ago and found out it was Tantra they practice. I searched for a book with good reviews and got this one. Sooo glad I did. It's a marvelous book and though I have barely even begun putting it into practice, my lovely beau and I are enjoying an improved level of intimacy and satisfaction in the bedroom. He got the book as well and is enjoying it immensely. It is just so different than what we were taught about sex, and how to get the most out of it. I thought we had a pretty awesome sex life before, but this is taking things to a whole new level. A spiritual level, which is something I have always sought after. It's hard to comprehend or explain how having slow sex makes you feel so much closer to your lover, let alone feel so many deep feelings that are spiritually opening, but it does seem to do that. This book is just so delicious to read, quite a sensual experience in itself. I could hardly put it down. Diana is a wonderful writer. I just ordered another of her books here (Tantric Orgasm for Women) on another viewers recommendation, and can't wait to get it. (2 whole days I have to wait!! ;D) I will re-read this while waiting.

Totally Worth Every Penny
I can't recommend this book enough. I feel to repeat a phrase mentioned by several other reviewers in that the information shared here very much resonated with me. I feel like I was learning truths that I've always instinctively known but that were never fully put together or laid out for me as clearly. I am especially intrigued by the information shared about polarity and see this as an amazing concept that is beautifully explained. I doubt the author's intent is to be political or to worry about political correctness. But I see that an unspoken yet clear message that comes from the understanding of sexual polarity is the natural beauty of male/female relationships and their superiority to homosexual relationships. I don't wish to bring hate mail to the author for suggesting that this book takes a stand against homosexuality. I honestly don't know the author's take on that. But to me, it explains the benefits of male female sexual connection and male female magnetism. The book doesn't demean homosexual relationships. It doesn't have to. But after reading about the naturally built in magnetic nature of male female relationships, I am more than ever convinced that homosexual relationships will never compete with the magic of heterosexual polarity. This book is a beautiful work and has been a catalyst for healthy conversations with my spouse about our sexuality and our sexual relationship. It is totally worth every penny.

Concise and Helpful
This book offers insights and methods to help shift your focus into a tantric state. I found it helpful because I'm not sure where I am in my tantric journey as far as philosophy goes, and this book doesn't get bogged down in the dogma or philosophy but rather offers simple advice for how to achieve a tantric experience sans doctrine. If you are looking for a book that offers some insights into tantra without a deep dive into the mythos surrounding it, this book is for you!

Disappointingly based on author's experiences, and not Tantra.
I had high hopes for this book, as I have been studying Tantra and have been intrigued by this philosophy. This book is just a collection of the author's inferences from her personal sexual experiences, and are not based in Tantra. It is also very heteronormative, sexist ("men are strong, women are submissive"), and just plain dull. The Love Keys section has some practical advice, but besides that this book is a waste of time.Wouldn't recommend, especially to sexual health professionals or to someone genuinely interested in Tantra.
