Incauca Sugar Turbinado, 32 oz, 1.0 Count

I bought this to sweeten tea, coffee, fruits, breakfast cereal..., as an alternative to using regular refined (white) granulated sugar. It passes the main test, equivalent sweetness and test. Clumping is minimal, compared to similar other unrefined brown/light brown sugar varieties (Sugar-in-the Raw, etc.) Pricing is much better than any I've found for similar product at any retail or on-line store. My complaint? (And this is a really BIG one - so pay attention Amazon Folks!!): If you Amazon folks could find a way to remind me -BEFORE I GET TO THE THIRD GROCERY STORE THAT DOESN'T STOCK THIS - that I've been buying this from you (Amazon), that would really considerate, thoughtful nice, appreciated, yada, yada, yada... But likely not acknowledged - don't let your expectations get that high. Thanks, and have a socially acceptable good day at work. :)

When In The Raw, and then other brands of turbinado sugar, first came out, it had a relatively high molasses content, resulting in dark tannish-brown crystals and a still very slightly-sticky texture to it from the retained molasses content - turbinado sugar (vs. white sugar) was the perfect taste to pair with brewed coffee, as both the coffee and the sugar cane are grown in the same region/soil & have compatible flavoursOver the decades, In The Raw began processing their turbinado sugar more and more, to the point where it is today, with barely any of the molasses left in it - Florida Crystals, the only other brand of turbinado sugar available in my area, has followed suit - I then started buying demerara sugar, when that began available at my local retail stores, until the price suddenly tripled, making it ridiculously overpriced - demerara and turbinado are nothing more than partially refined sugar cane (fully refined gives you the completely de-mineralised & very dry white sugar crystals)I began buying this brand on Amazon due to the reviews, and was pleased to see that in actuality, the sugar really is as caramelly-dark as the images on the listing indicate - further, the sugar is not (as of this review dated 4/12/25) overpriced - I hope the company continues to refine their cane sugar to this degree without reducing the molasses content as these other companies did - I also hope the company continues to keeps the price at the retail level turbinado sugar should be sold atIt has been my experience in life that manufacturers and retailers lose sight of the Purpose of what they are producing - watashi-wa, there is nothing being produced that I need to overspend my spending money on at overpriced prices

I love turbinado sugar in my coffee, so I've used the "best-known" brand for ages. But when the weather is damp, even a brand-new box is lumpy. And I always worry about bugs in the warehouse getting in through the flaps of the box. They're not always sealed well.Then I found this. The price per ounce is better, the taste is the same, and the packaging keeps it dry. I don't even have to put it in a Rubbermaid container because the resealable top works well.Better and less expensive? A rare find these days, so 5 stars for sure!

Will buy again

I switched to this brand because the cost of the brand that I'd been buying went up higher than I was willing to pay. The flavour of this turbinado sugar is comparable with the brand I previously used.I will continue to buy this brand as long as it remains affordable.

Above average quality and flavor, it adds a Sweet richness to my hot tea and coffee. Nice way to treat myself on long hard days.

Great for adding to coffee, tea or sprinkling onto baked goods. Highly recommended!
