Smooth Operator is our most popular peanut butter spread, made from peanuts blended with a pinch of salt and a touch of cane sugar. We've added a little bit of palm oil to keep the peanut oil from separating so that there is no need to stir. Enjoy in a classic PB&J or grab a spoon and eat it straight from the jar!

Excellent product
I’m on a high protein, low carbohydrate, diet, I love this peanut butter. It doesn’t have any garbage ingredients like all the commercial brands and it’s pretty much the same price, the taste is great. I just add a little bit of sugar substitute, pick whichever one you like, but it’s fine

Terrible
I tried this brand because it was on Binging with Babish. He ranked this brand very highly, with most of his top ranks going to this brand. My experience is very different. This was the worst peanut butter I can remember having. It's wet and runny, so much that if you scoop spoonful out, and tilt the spoon it will pour off. Almost nothing will be left on the spoon. The texture in your mouth is even worse. Wet and sticky all at once.Next, the flavor is terrible. Bland and bad tasting all at once. Not much else to say.

It's Peanut Butter!
I've been trying to find a healthier replacement to conventional peanut butter for a while now. Unfortunately all the organic ones are the same; super sticky, overpowering dry roasted peanut tasting paste. The so-called 'no stirs' I tried were waxy and bland and still required stiring.Clearly there's a market for 'old fashioned' peanut butter but I just wanted a better version of what I grew up with, not basically a different product. Peanut Butter & Co has come to the rescue!Non gmo and actually includes some sugar, which balances the peanut flavor. I taste tested it against Kroger brand( which in turn is similar to JIF) and it's incredibly similar in both taste and texture. I would say it's a hair stronger in peanut flavor and maybe a hair stickier but I easily spread it on apples and bananas. I don't think it would tear through bread, though I didn't try.The cons I have are: it's a bit pricey, comes in plastic instead of glass, and I wish it were USDA organic. It also is slightly oily on top and requires a little stirring, but it stirs with ease and isn't gloppy like other brands I tried. If you're looking for a more basic, old fashioned peanut butter this isn't your product. But if you're just trying to upgrade your PB without sacrificing taste and texture, PB & Co has you covered.

Good PB, but nothing exceptional
I do consider myself a bit of a PB connoisseur. For the purposes of this review, I'm comparing this product to the other three natural PBs I regularly eat:Fresh Thyme (midwest Whole Foods wannabe owned by Meijer) natural crunchy PBTrader Joe's natural crunchy PBWhole Foods natural crunchy PBThe biggest difference between these four is their texture. WF and FT products are what I would call more of a coarse grind, while TJ and this product (PB&C) are what I would call a creamy/smoother grind. Now, obviously, because they're all cruncy PB, they have chunks in them. When I describe texture, I mean the PB, not the chunks, in other words the texture of the PB minus the chunks. All four have simple ingredients - peanuts and salt. Therefore, the only possible differences in flavor would be due to the level of saltiness and the types of peanuts used. Frankly, I don't detect much difference in taste between the four. The only standout would be Trader Joe's, because they use unblanched peanuts, so those ground-up red skins add a unique flavor profile to the PB.With regards to texture, the four fall squarely into one of two camps - coarse vs fine grinds. TJ and PB&C have a smooth, creamy texture due to the finer grind of the peanuts. But the unblanched nuts used by TJ add a unique dimension to the flavor and texture. FT and WF have more of a sandy texture, which I actually prefer. Better mouth feel and less stickiness.Like all natural PBs, spreadability depends strictly on you, and how you store/maintain it. I generally stir when first opened, then move it to the refrigerator to minimize separation. If stored in the refrigerator, it can be quite difficult to spread, especially on a soft, squishy bread. At room temperature, all natural PBs are very spreadable, but they will separate quickly, requiring re-stirring. However, if you don't frequently re-stir, or don't to it thoroughly, you will end up with thick, hard-to-spread separated material at the bottom of the jar.Bottom line: This is perfectly acceptable, tasty, PB. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. That being said, of the four PBs I've discussed, this one comes in fourth. WF and FT are better (IMHO) for their texture, and TJ gets the nod over PB&C for their use of unblanched nuts. And, of course, you can get the other three much cheaper from your local stores, than the cost of PB&C through Amazon. I will not be buying again.

Finally Found a Great Alternative to Adams!
This is my new pick for Peanut Butter! I've been searching for a simple crunchy peanut butter with no sugar for a while since my local grocer stopped carrying Adam's No-Stir Crunchy Peanut Butter. Those were some sad times trying other options that just didn't live up to the taste, but this peanut butter is a saving grace! This is the closest alternative with the best value that I've been able to find. I see several others have complained about oil, but that's what's in Peanut Butter. Take out the oil and you end up with something else added that is potentially worse. If I haven't used the jar in a while I just stir a little and then use what I need. My family loves this stuff!!! To save on the plastic jars, I would buy a larger container, or perhaps in a tube. I have enough jars to store all my hardware, I don't need more.
