This book was purchased as a guide for a third grade classroom unit on Birds.It exceeded my expectations in the adaptability for third grade level.The book is so well laid out that it could easily cover most elementary grade levels.As a result, I will purchase other titles in this series.Thank you for a wonderful book!

super cute! I gave it to my bird loving friend. I know that if you love something and are so knowledgeable about a subject, it can be hard to bring it down to toddler level! This book is packed with great activities and ideas that my friend is excited to try with her two small kids. I am looking for other titles in the series.

Bought for a grandchild but it is a bit too difficult however it is a good reference for someone later teens or adult age.

Nice book, good activities for kids. Will be used in a private nature to help provide activities for young birders.

I realize that there are some excellent reviews of this book and it is not completely devoid of information and ideas, however, the main issue I see is stated in its preface where the author dedicates to a whole host of good people who are interested and care about Birds, but, leaves out the Bird Illustators and Artists. Which, in my opinion is sad because without those who have done the dirty work and gone into the field or in other places and areas, who had not illustrated these books we would know nothing of these great creatures of God. Just think of Audubon. So, I would suggest that despite its good points, someone interested in birds needs to look for other bird related books. It is in the Art of the Bird, that the Science of the Bird become clear, understanable, and appreciated. Thank you.
