Q: Does this item have the Amazon 30-day return warranty?

I do not remember if it has a 30 day return warranty, I cannot imagine that it would not. When I received it, it arrived in excellent condition and I had no reason to be concerned with returning it. I am sure that if there were a problem it would have been addressed and corrected. It is well constructed and not an eye-sore to look at. I bought it to accommodate my needs after my hip replacement. I found it to be very comfortable in sitting and getting up without putting excessive pressure on my hip. It has been over two years since my surgery and I still like sitting in this chair, sturdy, comfortable and well worth the money.

Q: Do the arms come with padding or is it just solid?

Sadly, the arms are solid and hard and they are very uncomfortable. It bewilders me why the company went to a great length to design a great chair and skipped on such an important thing as the arms.

Q: Will a 6ft 4in man weighing 280 lbs fit in this chair?

I'm not sure. The chair is definitely strong enough for supporting such a man, but the size of the seat... you need to ask the measurements of the seat from the company to see if he will fit. I know that it comfortably fit the 6'1" man weighing 210 lbs.

Q: Does the manufacturer have wheels which can be added? I don't want to search for the correct wheels.

The manufacturer doesn't make this option with wheels. There are other products out there that come with wheels.
