Comfy
This is the best pillow ever. It is specifically designed for people that have neck and back issues. This is not a pillow that you buy just because you need a pillow. You buy this pillow if you're experiencing pain in your back or neck. This pillow is wonderful for side sleepers and it also cradles the neck in the middle part if you sleep on your back. This is not going to be considered super comfy to someone that doesn't have pain so beware of that. But it is a good remedy combined with chiropractic or physical therapy care!

Inadequate neck support & too firm for side sleeping
I have some long suffering neck issues (osteoarthritis, pinched nerves, loss of normal cervical curve) and my chiropractor suggested that I ditch my contour/memory foam pillow and buy a D-Core pillow instead. I looked at several options and based on the mostly good reviews on this one, decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it was a major disappointment. First I tried to use the narrower side for neck support while sleeping on my back, but it is too flat and soft to offer any benefit. In fact, I was able to feel an air space between the back of my neck and the top of the pillow! I attempted to move around some of the inner stuffing to build up the neck roll area but it was of no use...its just too thin and flimsy to offer any true support. Next I flipped the pillow over and tried using the thicker neck support to see if that worked. Unfortunately this side is too wide to allow my head to fall back into the 'core', so my neck and head are kept at the same height, which defeats the purpose (might as well use a regular pillow). When I occasionally rolled out of the 'core' and on to the side for side sleeping during the night, the firm sides of the pillow were like sleeping on a stack of folded towels....no give, too firm, and a lumpy to boot! As bad as this pillow was for back sleeping, it was 10 times worse for side sleeping. I wish I would have kept this pillow in the plastic bag so I could return it but now its too late... add this pillow to the heap of gimmicks that didn't work.

Awesome coming from someone with severe neck, back, & migraine issues
Rarely would I ever consider writing a review on a pillow after the 1st night because when it comes to pillows and I, it's a hate hate relationship. 1st let me give a bit of a background on me... I have cervical spinal stenosis forming in my central and facet parts of my vertebrae. I also have 2 bulges in my cervical spine as well as a herniated disc and bulges elsewhere lower down. I get migraines, and I mean full blown migraines where I'm vomiting and can't even be around anything with a scent or light. This all stems from my shoulder and neck areas. Now about my history with pillows....it's near impossible to find one to suit me and actually help with these issues. I've tried them all, all the new shiny ones you can find as a special at places like Costco, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc... I just can not find a pillow I can even make it past the 1st night without waking up worse then when I started with or reaching for my old pillow which doesn't do a good job but is better then 'breaking one in' and suffering a horrible migraine. That all changed last night, I received this D-Core cervical pillow yesterday on time with my prime membership in a clean, new package. I threw it on my couch and took a 30 min. siesta(since I'm pregnant I totally need it mid day) and has used this, well the nap went so good I couldn't wait for bedtime with now high hopes. I did wake up a few times throughout the night because it is firm, but the weird thing is it didn't hurt, I just think since I'm not used to the shape and firmness it just caught me off guard. None the less I found myself not having to constantly fluff and stuff my pillow throughout the night and was able to easily fall back asleep. Fast forward to my alarm going off this morning and I actually woke up refreshed!! My neck didn't kill me like every other single morning!!!! I couldn't believe it! Is it possible to actually not have to have a painful 'break in' period on an amazing pillow?! So as of now this sucker is rated 5 stars in my book. I'll update my rating and review if this changes. But for now I'm wondering why I didn't just spend the 20 something dollars before now instead of upwards of $100 on other pillows that never worked. If you have serious issues like I do with your back and neck and dibilitating headaches please do yourself a favor and just give this pillow a try. I am seriously SO glad I did.

Don't judge after first use.
Nicely put together. Head and neck positioning take some get used to, but it is a good pillow.

It is very firm
It is a LOT more firm than described, and it is difficult - i could not move the stuffing aroundlike it suggests. I will keep it and try to get used to it.

Terrible for me
Maybe my neck is shorter than others (it looks normal length to me lol) but this pillow KILLED my neck. I was in so much pain the next day I had to take ibuprofen twice. I tried it again and same thing. Ended up throwing it out since it was non-returnable, what a waste of money.
