Good kit and tool.

This is a very good value set and works perfectly. It's a bit fiddly to use, but that's down to the small size of the connectors and wires (and the fact that my eyes and fingers are now fifty years old!) rather than any problem with the set itself. You do have to know how to use the crimper and connectors properly to get decent results though, if you've never used Dupont crimp connectors before just have a look on YouTube there are plenty of tutorials.

Reviews moaning about the crimping tool just need to check how they are using it. Basically have a look at the pictures, you want to get a little pre-crimp going, make sure that you only strip a little bit of wire insert it into the crimp and close. As you can see the connection is good enough and it fits into the connector with an audible click. And those complaining about the connection quality and whatnot: we're not connecting 240 volt plugs here it's only needed for five volts so it's definitely fit for purpose. Just use it properly and you'll be fine

Crimps almost anything but not hair!!! Although a little bland to look at it can easily be transformed.WARNING - Do not let your tools get too close to each other or they may have a fight!!!

A great value Dupont crimping set - make sure you watch the YouTube videos for top tips on how to successfully crimp these connectors.

Great crimpers but crimping large amounts of these connectors is worse than torture
