MG Women's Army

I am one of those unfortunate people that have a very bad bed hair, and because of that I've been going around searching for a good hat to cover it on casual days where I just want to go out for some quick take-out. I have gone to swapmeets, thrift shops, retail stores, and many other places searching for a simple military cap styled hat that would satisfy me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any until I decided to start shopping for it online. There are a lot of different styled military caps here on amazon from different sellers, but I chose this one because I preferred its simpler design and price. I wear this hat every other day, and I haven't found a single discomfort when I put it on. The hat fit snugly after I adjusted the strap in the back, and I don't have to worry about being a fashion terrorist due to the fact that the color black goes well with, well, practically everything. However it does attract a lot of hair from my dogs, which is expected because it's black.There are two tiny holes on the side of the cap that are for either ventilation or design (I'm not sure), but I'd go with design since the holes are very small. On hot days my head does get rather hot (it may be because I purchased the black one), but my eyes are constantly covered so I don't have to squint all the time. It also provides me with decent protection in the rain - I haven't seen any color changes/fading or anything of the like. Just looking at it, you cant even tell it's wet after you take it off (the water does start penetrating the fabric of the hat though, so I wouldn't recommend long sessions in the rain).And for those wondering about the rim, it's not a cardboard rim that will leave a bent mark after you bend it like with most cheap hats today. I cant tell what kind of material it is without peeling the thing open myself (which I wont be doing), but its a fairly bendy material and I feel like its quite durable and will last me a while.Overall, great hat for the price. Durable, comfortable, fashionable and simple, it's my go to hat every time I go out. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I love this hat with it's smaller than most caps brim, looks and fits great. Just what I wanted for my upcoming vacation!!

The hat itself fits well. Its soft and it doesnt bother my head. The strap in the back is velcro and holds well. The color however is NOT the same as the picture. In the picture the hat looks like a army green but the hat I received is olive green. I was still able to use it though. Wish they would change the picture to the accurate color because there is going to be another customer who is going to be looking for the same color on the photo they have as I did and receive a different color. Other than that, its a good hat. Be aware that the first few pictures I posted are taken with flash so it makes the hat look lighter than its actual color. The last picture I took without flash. The hat is a true olive green color.

Great hat, especially for the money.This hat is well made. There are no loose threads and all of the seams are taped. All aspects of the construction show quality workmanship.The hat fits well. It fits my 73/8 noggin just right and it could easily be adjusted several sizes up or down. It seems to be proportionally correct.The hat is made of good materials. The cloth is not stiff and is substantial. The color of the Velcro matches the hat perfectly.The hat has a certain panache. It simply looks cool. It is low profile and understated.It's a lot of hat for the money. Because it's made of cotton and so well put together, you would expect to pay more for this hat. (Why do some colors cost more?)As a final testament to the hat I have just order two more in different colors.I din NOT receive any compensation for this review. I favor this style of cap and they aren't easy to find. I bought a few different ones on Amazon and this wins hands down. The velcro adjustment strap is well constructed and allows me to adjust over my ponytail when needed. My head is kind of small so many caps look stupidly large on me. This one is stylish, well-made, and comfy. Couldn't ask for more.

Our teen son purchased one of these caps in the green for a costume. After that he continued to wear it off and on and THEN the arguments broke out because his older sister, also a teen, wanted to borrow it. Since the cap is under ten bucks it made no sense for her not to buy her own, so she did in the black.The caps are well made and adjustable. They look absolutely adorable on the kids-- although I'd never say more than say something mom-ish like 'awesome'.The caps are 'conservative' and flexible enough in appearance that you can wear them to school or going out for a walk or for sports. Suitable for guys and fems who want to a sporty look.

This is a great looking hat, but it runs large. I ordered this particular hat because I have a very small head. It’s way too big. One size does not fit all even though it’s adjustable.

I like this cap because I have a smaller size head and i can get it to fit and it feels comfortable.
