Cook like your back at a Fast Food Restaurant!
First off, I originally bought the Camp Chef Explorer camp stove to boil water for soups in my back yard and at camp. This year, when we found out we couldn't have an open flame at camp, e.g. charcoal, I immediately searched for an alternative. This was what I settled on and I love it. It's HEAVY. It weighs more than the stove. But that also means it's sturdy and should retain the heat well.We cooked bacon and eggs for breakfast. Worked great. Bacon sizzled and the bacon butter ran down the grease well into the catch can. Unfortunately, there was a lot of bacon butter to catch so I had to change the grease cup quite frequently. Not the manufacturer's fault by any means. So be ready to save those tin cans for catching the grease. For lunch it was burgers and they turned out GREAT! I got the frozen patties and didn't expect them to cook well. But they did! Nice carmelization on the patties and all! The best part was that I was able to cook 4 patties with melted cheese, toast 4 pairs of buns and grill some onions on the same grill! Who doesn't like a toasted bun and grilled onions for their burger? I was pounding out 4 burgers every 5 minutes. I started to feel like SpongeBob himself. Again, the burgers tasted great! I was able to fry some eggs sunny-side up for some of the campers as well. Great to be able to do that on one piece of equipment. For Dinner is was sausages and beef tips with some stir-fried veggies. Needless to say by this point everyone at the camp was happy that I bought this griddle. And if you buy this, I believe you will, too.Waiting to make tacos and burritos at home!

This is an awesome griddle and it still fits my Camp Chef stove from 23 years ago.
This is a really great griddle. It is really solid and seems well made. It came pre-seasoned and ready to go.The heat distribution is pretty good with large heat spreaders welded under the surface to engage with the burners. The middle of grill is not as hot, but I find this as an advantage. Let's me have areas to keep stuff warm and hot areas to cook. The grease catch can holder was junk (broke on the 1st outing) but better replacements are readily available, so it does not take away from the good experience with the griddle. I purchased it with the bag, which I recommend because it would be a pain to try and store it in the box.

Nice, well built griddle
The media could not be loaded. Nice, well built griddle. It’s heavy and came with a good initial seasoning. After cooking on it twice , I think I’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of using it. It comes with a drip can holder, not an actual can so be prepared to find a jar, can or something suitable to catch drippings and water after cleanup. Otherwise you’ll have a mess on the ground. This was a good alternative to purchasing a full blown Blackstone or Camp Chef griddle for $300+ since I already owned the Explorer 2 burner stove. The surface area is smaller with this option but definitely large enough for my family. I don’t need 800 sq inches for a family of 5 with the occasional guests. This is more than enough.I put an infrared thermometer on the griddle with the stove set on medium to see how the temperature dispersed across the face of the steel. After 20 minutes, there is definitely a cool spot in the middle of the two burners , but that’s common sense and to be expected. I think the dispersement plates make a difference but it’s impossible to have perfectly dispersed heat with this setup. Honestly though, the cool spot is useful if you need to move food off higher heat cooking to avoid burning. The temperature difference I observed between the middle and over burner areas was about 130-150 degrees F. Hope this helps! It’s $99, just buy one!

Good grill for camping
This was purchased for camping with a bigger group in min mind and worked out perfect. The seasoning process was way easier than a Blackstone griddle as this comes pre-seasoned and is cast iron the first item cooked on was bacon to insure the seasoning was properly done and never looked back on that process. You do need to follow the instructions to never go above medium heat in the beginning and then turn it down to low to cook and this can be adjusted any where in between. The cleaning process was simple using a scraper lightly and a cast iron seasoning of you choice do your research on what you should use. Well pleased with purchase.

Griddle me this.....
I never thought I'd opt for a griddle over a grill, but here I am. Tire of burgers, dogs and kebabs falling into the grill? Hate heating up the house in the summer, but you didn't think you could make pancakes and omelettes outside on the grill? Well this product is for you. The versatility of the griddle is amazing from stir frying to searing. If I need a stove , I take the flat top off (boiling corn etc.) Griddle on for everything else. I cheated and bought a small charcoal grill so when the meats are done cooking, I put them in the charcoal grill for a couple minutes to get that smoky flavor and no ones the wiser. The camp chef products are excellent quality so this product is no exception. I use this with my two burner stove.I love that it comes pre-seasoned, so it was non stick from day one with lots of square footage. I cooked 16 hot dogs and 12 burgers with room to spare. Placed 12 Italian sausages to cook while frying up the peppers and onions alongside them, can't so that on a grill. It is heavy, so probably not for the smaller builds to try and put on and off. Cleaning was quick and relatively easy if you have a nice brush. I did find it expensive however it does deliver on quality and versatility. Place your stove at a small angle to the left so the grease flows toward the hole into a large beer can. I highly recommend.
