I wish I had purchased this before we got our puppy - it would have helped us eliminate all those accidents up immediately. This handheld vac is super easy to use: make sure it's charged, add the solution, spray, scrub, suck it all up. It really works on fresh dog pee in the carpet, and therefore prevents your carpet/couch smelling like old dog pee, which is a LOT more difficult to get out.I initially purchased it to try to get the smell of dog pee out of our couch (somehow bottles of Nature's Miracle didn't do the trick), and after several passes it seems to have helped a bit, but I think it's going to take quite a few more.Anyway: pros and cons:Pros: really great on fresh accidents (whether pet messes or other spills) and prevents stains and lingering odors, works on carpets and couches, super easy to use, keep clean, and store away.Cons: not great with eliminating old pet-related odors (although I haven't tried subbing the solution with vinegar and water, that might work), goes through the solution really, really fast (if you have a puppy you will go through bottles of this), and only holds a charge for 20-30 mins max.Recap: buy for preventative care, great for immediate use on spills, not for large surfaces or prolonged use.

It is the best for cleaning and caring for dog and cat seats and carpets, and for the little ones. I would buy it again. Highly recommended.

This works well when used as intended.The best part about it, however, is that the smell of the cleaner is a very light citrus smell that DOES NOT LINGER AFTER CLEANING!!!Too many "pet stain cleaners" have completely overwhelming added scents to cover up whatever your pet did to the carpet. The smell of those cleaners can be worse than the mess, and fills the house for days. They give me migraines, and I can't tell if they actually cleaned the carpet, because they prevent me from smelling if the soiled spot is still holding on to the smell.In contrast, this cleaner is not overpowering. You can smell the carpet while you clean with it, and tell if the smell from the pet's mess is still lingering in the carpet. The smell does not give me a headache or make my eyes burn, even while I'm cleaning with it. It really is a godsend! I'm so sensitive to odors, and was worried this solution would be worse than the problem, but it's perfect.The scent of the cleaner doesn't fill the house, and fades quickly. When I'm done cleaning, I notice the smell, but it's light and not distracting or overpowering. After a day, I don't notice it at all while in the same room. After a few days, I can only smell it if I lay my head down on the carpet.And I know my carpet is really clean, because I would still smell the mess if it weren't.Thank you for a great product!
