I got my Nespresso machine as a gift two years ago. Lately, I have considered selling it because I simply cannot justify spending so much on coffee. We’re not the coffee shop kind of people, except when we travel, so we don’t typically spend a lot on coffee, but we love a nice one at home each morning. I’m a new fan of protein coffee, and I use double espresso for that.Imagine my delight when I learned about these lids! I spent way too much time reading reviews on four different kits and finally decided on this Capmesso one because it was 30% off during the Prime Spring Deal Sale. I’m VERY pleased with this product. It works as described. It was so easy to fill a pod and put the lid on without any mess or needing to brush coffee off the lip before applying the very sticky lid.The coffee came out fantastic and foamy—just how I like it. Post brewing, the pod and lid were in perfect shape and the lid worked well.I highly recommend this product!

The media could not be loaded. I've been using this aluminum foil lid for my Nespresso pods daily, and it's genuinely transformed my coffee routine. There's no fuss - just remove the old lid, add your coffee, seal with this new one, and you're good to go. It makes reusing pods a breeze! It's the perfect size and the clever design easily creates a seal - they go on easily and quickly with minimal mess.Use a fine grind of coffee and it works wonderfully every time.You get a lot of lids for not much money. Considering my daily use, the cost per use is negligible.I would say the biggest win for me has been the reduction in overall waste. I think this is a more environmentally friendly option for my daily coffee. Reusing pods means fewer disposables in my trash because I can compost the used coffee and recycle the lids. Even though it's a very small change, every little bit counts!Over time, this has saved me a considerable amount. I would give this item 3.5 stars.I drink a lot of coffee and I get cranky if I don't have coffee in the morning. When I got this Nespresso machine, I was blown away by the rich coffee it gives! I was directly buying the pods, spending a lot of $$ per month when I found this aluminum foil which enabled me to reuse the pods and save a lot of money.That being said, does it work? Yes, it works perfectly, most of the time. Sometimes, the lids don't stick well to the pods and that causes the lids to open when the Nespresso machine starts to run, creating a huge noise. When it does not work I couldn't find a way to fix it. At first, I thought its because I didn't clean the pod properly or I didn't dry it properly after washing it or I am putting too much or too little coffee powder in it. But when it doesn't work, none of the adjustments I made work. There is something wrong with the adhesiveness of some of the lids which causes it to "unstick" when used. Again, this is not on all lids, and I have used almost close to 200 lids now. Its very frustrating when this happens and this happened only in the latest batch that I got in Oct 2020. So quality control needs to improve.But overall, since this product worked most of the time, I am willing to give this product 3.5 stars, rounded to 4. I will buy this product one more time but if these quality mishaps happen again, I am not coming back.

Having used the adhesive covers and filled the pods by hand, this gadget is a godsend. Easy to setup, it prevents making a mess all over your counter and the holder makes it much easier to stick the foil covers on evenly. One note: the adhesive on the included covers seems to be old, or just doesn't work as well as on the batch I purchased previously.
