Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstick, Pink-Light

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. This is a lovely lipstick that is more like a light balm in texture. It is somewhat thick in consistency , and covers the lips with smooth, even color. I am wearing the shade, red light- medium in the picture. I think it suits my coloring Very well. I like the option of being able to match colors with your skin tone. I have found this balm to be long lasting and very moisturizing. I plan on ordering more colors. Almay did a very good job with this. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you buy this.

Goes on smoothly, medium amount of tint, slightly glossy. Color is true to photo.

Perfect shade for my skin tone and I just love it

I love this color and can never find it in the store. It is the perfect red for my skin tone. I can use a single sweep for a light coat or apply more coats for a less translucent red. I have not found that it bleeds or gets cakey or stains like some other lipsticks.

I like the color, it’s subtle so I don’t have to worry about lipliner and it smudging too much. The finish is nice and smooth, I see why they call it lip butter. It feels hydrating. Only con is the smell. It’s not too strong and doesn’t really bother me that much but it kind of smells like crayons to me. I’ve had this issue with all sheer lipsticks but you would think they could find a way to cover it up.

I get a lot of compliments on this color. Very smooth during the cold day and with a pop of color.

I'd say this is great for chapped lips but it is very sheer. It does not have a lot of color to it.

This has been my favorite brand for many years.
