Easy to use

I have bought these many times in the past for kids and grandkids. I have gifted them to people for baby showers. This time I purchased it for my For baby, he became ill and his health rapidly decreased. I purchased it to make a keepsake of his paw. I hold it very dear. It was really easy to make. Instructions were simple. It’s very soft once it’s finished. It’s not a hard clay. It’s very durable. It’s very lightweight. It’s so pretty hanging on our tree with its little red bow. I definitely recommend purchasing this if you want to capture a moment in time. I will treasure this always. And I know I will buy it again for another gift for someone.

I’ve used this kit twice, one for each of my kids. Both times I was happy with the ease of use, and I even had enough extra to make a little heart for their feet too (I originally made the normal circle ornament). I was able to write in Sharpie on the back with their names and the date, and it has held up (3 years so far). My ONLY gripe is that it is hard to get the back smoothed out when it is setting. It looks bumpy and sets that way. I found that you can get it a little bit smoother by dipping your finger in water and smoothing the surface. I guess my other complaint would be that they collect dust very easily but I really can’t fault the company for these things. Love the product!

I was looking for a gift for my family who recently had a baby! They loved the gift and said they had been looking for something similar!

Disappointed. I ordered two kits to make an ornament with our baby’s footprint. The clay looked great and the imprint was clear before drying. I followed the directions, air dried flat for 24 hours, etc. The clay puffed up while drying and warped. These are not usable as the imprint is now barely visible. Definitely a waste of money.

I read the reviews but I’ve purchased this brand for years ..and I love themIt not a clay At all . It turns into a solid , hard , foam . Which I prefer because It will never fall and shatter then, it’s light weight and I paint them according to the gender and my preference using a little bottle of acrylic paint.They will not crack or chip nor the paint either . My first one was purchased 8 years ago and still looks like the first day.So easy .Need the package , roll it thin , cut the shape , press their hand or foot. Add a hole to hang it, ( 5 min) . Then Let dry 48 hours and paint .If you paint the little hand or foot white, you see every cute detail and paint the rest another color.I used the extra that was cut off and made 1-little 3” egg shape an added a foot print , let dry and added a magnet to the back for the fridge as a gift for the grandparents . again because it’s not heavy at all and won’t break if it falls .Perfect , fast, easy , no mess at all !

I love the concept, and i bet it’s a lot easier to get a newborns prints if they were able to put more pressure on the mold. I struggled and had to redo the mold multiple times because I just couldn’t get my babies prints even on a flat surface. I ended up just using it on my 4 year old instead and worked well. It’s super cute and hangs well, not heavy whatsoever!

I actually used this to make 3 smaller ornaments. The cutter it came with was big and I didn’t need ornaments that big. I made one ornament with my first apartment key imprint, one with my first cats footprint, and one with my second cats footprint. I was able to write on them once they dried with a fine tip sharpie and the ink didn’t bleed. I’m thinking about sealing them with Mod Podge or a clear coat spray paint to prevent it from collecting dirt, oils, and getting discolored over time. All in all a great purchase.
