I'm setting up a small studio to film painting tutorials and have purchases some lighting, microphone etc. The lighting was an issue as the threads were difficult to match to clamps. This pack of goodies has solved all the problems of either scaling up or scaling down screw threads.All made from metal and study construction.Recommend?... Yes.

Package arrived on time so that’s great.Lots of bits giving lots of options.Upon use one of the threads split slightly when screwing together. Nothing major as this can sometimes happen due to machine setup in cutting.Now the really bad bit for one of the setups I required to use several of the bits together. I needed it to be setup for a couple of days. It was stable and held up well to the task. Upon taking the rig down I found the bits difficult to unscrew from the camera. This had me worried that they had suffered from the splitting in my camera or had damaged my camera thread but that seems ok. However I have been left with 3 pieces all stuck together and the only way to split them up will be pliers and this in turn will cause damage to the parts you would hold to reconnect or render the threads useless at worse. Which you can see from the photo.I will get some washers to put between if I need that setup again but I should really have everything needed supplied.Overall I feel the parts supplied are ok but if they are going to be a one use only setup then they don’t really fit my purpose.**** UPDATE 15th May ****The bits that had all got stuck previously needed to be used this morning for a setup.Upon using them once setup and stable my camera fell from the mounting. Thankfully the strap caught on the tripod so it didn’t hit the floor you can see the brass piece has had the thread completely tear off. This had been attached to the ball head thankfully I was able to get it out using a rubber band and my finger. On the plus side I am now once again able to use my ball head reducer once more.I will be returning for a refund but hopefully others will see this and protect their expensive camera equipment if using this bits.

I was a bit uncertain about ordering these as I've often found similar screws to be badly formed or soft, but they seem quite good.

They all fit perfectly with my equipment and I never thought I would find them as useful as they are. So I’m really please with them and will probably get some more:)

As a DIY geek, it's always handy to have those.

Great collection for those photographers on the move. Well made and reasonable price.
