Perfect first bike for two year old boy!
Purchased this bike for my two year old son, who at the time of receiving the bike was approximately 32 inches tall. The bike fit him perfectly with the seat post most of the way down, giving lots of room for growth. We gave him this bike in March and I am not writing this review in August, so this review is with 5-6 months of experience with using the bike. The bike arrived in a relatively small box and assembly was done in 5-10 minutes. Attached the handlebars and seat post, tighten with a provided allen wrench and done. The bike is made of solid metal (steel maybe?), is very sturdy but not too heavy for even my toddler. He is able to pick it up and maneuver it himself. We have left the bike outside accidentally and the paint and bike is still like new. A very sturdy bike, a great design and the concept of a balance bike was perfect for my son. Once he warmed up to the idea of being on the bike, he walked while standing for the first month or so, has since learned to sit and walk and now if quickly catching onto the idea that he can control how fast he goes!! Last month I raised the seat for the first time and he still has plenty of room to grow with this bike. We will use this bike until he is ready to transition into a bike with pedals and no training wheels. He'll be ready thanks to Strider!

Toddler grandson loves it
I have to admit, we did not assemble so not sure if this was easy, we had our son who is a mechanical engineer and expert with bikes assemble this for us for our 2 year old grandson's birthday. Our daughter in law asked us to purchase for his birthday. Not sure he likes it yet as he will not wear the helmet. I think with time he will get use to it and like it. He is a active toddler and loves to run and play. I noticed at the coffee shop and at the park many of these types of bikes seems perfect for toddlers to gain balance without bothering with the pedals. I will report later as he uses it if I would recommend it. Until he accepts the helmet it sits in the garage. Nice sturdy well made even though the company is in North Dakota it is made in China. Nice color. Wheels seem sturdy along with the seat. Recommend.

Great product!
Granddaughter loves it! My son had one when he was little and was able to ride a bike with ease when he started on a pedal bike. Gradually helps to create a sense of balance as your child practices on it. Definitely and highly recommended. For ambitious 2 year olds.

2 year old loves it!
This was so easy to build (like 10 minutes maybe even less). Love the quality and all the pieces were in perfect condition, no complaints here. My 2 year old loves it. I would definitely recommend.

Worth the buy
This has been a great buy. My son has been using this for the last 6 months roughly and has really grasped the concept of balancing. He’s able to run on this on rough terrain and maintain control. It was bought for his 2nd bday and I’d highly recommend. Great outside bike.

GREAT 1st bike!
I love this little bike so much already! We got it for our 2 year old, and he has loved trying to keep up with his older brother on it. It's given them a way to be outside doing the same thing together! We chose Strider over other brands because of how light-weight it is, the lower seat height, the solid tires, and the good reviews we saw on it, and have been happy with all of those things. The only thing I don't like about it is what a pain it is to adjust the handlebars. You have to use an Allen wrench provided to adjust it, and it is really easier with two people- one to hold the bars at the height you want, and the other to tighten it. I much prefer the mechanism used to tighten the seat- SO much easier!

Great bike, but a little small for my tall 3 year old
This bike came in perfect condition, was really easy to assemble. All you need is an Allen wrench! My son absolutely loved this bike. I was weary of the fit upon ordering, but decided to go out on a limb. He is 3 years, 9 months old and is 42 inches tall, all legs. It did technically fit him, but we will need to purchase the extended seat for him to be able to ride the bike properly and to grow with it. However, my 2 year, 3 month old fits perfectly with the original seat. My 3 year old still rides the bike and raves over it. It's a sturdy, lightweight, fun bike that id recommend to anyone. I just wish they included on the Amazon page that the original mini seat that comes with the bike is form 18m-3 years, and in order to get 5 years of use out of it, you will need to purchase the taller seat seperately. Would have saved me some hassle!!

Best age is around 2
We got this bike for my toddler's (2 years in Nov 2023) Christmas present. We wanted something he could ride in the house for a bit before it got warm again and this was perfect. By the time spring rolled around he was riding really well on it. I think by the end of the summer he will be able to pick up his feet more and actually do the balancing. He is definitely doing better than my daughter who we started out in training wheels, I would much prefer the balance bike over the training wheels - it just takes the kids getting used to it at first!
