Three inches shorter version of the LP981 Tito Puente stand
When used in a sitting position, the LP980 can go about 3" lower than the LP981. The 980 is essentially similar otherwise. Like the 981, the 980 requires the LP985 cowbell bracket to complete the stand.The 980 comes with replacement mounting plates for the timbales that work with the stand. My timbales came with a Matator-style stand, and therefore had different mounting plates installed. The replacement plates were very useful.

I only received on box that had the stands , did not get the drums or cow bells ?????
