I OVERALL THINK THAT I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR. IT'S NOT AS STURDY AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, BUT IT DOES THE JOB. I WENT TO YOU TUBE TO GET IN DEPTH DIRECTIONS FOR USE. ITS A GREAT TOOL FOR BEGINNERS. MORE ADVANCED ARTIST MAY APPRECIATE BETTER QUALITY

Works well! The little purple plastic adjuster is a big help. It’s very reliable when designing for projects or if you’re trying to edit proportions on a drawing or sketch for enlarging or shrinking. Either way accuracy isn’t too bad. For $10 it’s not that bad of a price. You get what you pay for.

You have to be careful not to break the tips or it is no longer useful. It is a useful tool but it's just basically two plastic sticks so it is pricey. But I haven't seen anything on the market nearly as cheap . It's a neat tool for drawing.

It is lightweight plastic but feels sturdy enough. For the money I feel like it was a great deal. It is exactly what I expected. Functional and easy to use. I did not expect a high quality name brand tool That would last forever for this low price so was very satisfied with the product.

Cheap, low grade materials and not useful

It does work, but ... Cheaply made in plastic that is flimsy and warped in places. No instructions or markings, so the ratio has to be determined by trial and error with a ruler. The locking mechanism isn't tight, so the setting can be changed simply by careless handling. Overpriced, should cost half as much. Not a good value for the money.

This is great for drawing or sketching accurate proportions. I found it easy to adjust and use. I read some reviews that made me think this would be flimsy, but this is awesome for an artist. I guess if you want to do drafting, you should spend the money for the expensive metal version. A key for me was knowing how to "use and adjust" this proportional divider. It is important for users to understand every drawing, sketch, or painting you may have to make several adjustments to achieve proper sizing of your subject/object. Perfect for portraits or landscapes, this will be a great addition for any skill set. Artist unite! USE your proportional divider.

It looks nice and should be functional but the plastic is seems to be extremely fragile and bendable. The peg holes are not marked with proportional indications. The peg holes only provide limited proportional options. The locking mechanism is hard to keep a fixed open position and is likely to break easily when pushed too hard trying to get it to hold a position. Overpriced for 2 pieces of plastic on a peg.On the other hand, metal gauges are much sturdier and have variable options, BUT they seem to be much shorter so not very useful for artist proportional measurements on larger drawings.
