Perfect tool for the job
Changing the spark plugs on my S500 would have been miserable without it. Worked as advertise. Simple design that works really well and saves a bunch of time removing the spark plug wires from the plugs.

Perfect fit for my M113 engine
Removed the spark plug boots easily in my R230 SL500 with M113 engine.... much easier than the pliers I used to use. It was especially useful in the hard-to-reach plugs towards the back of the engine.

This actually does the trick
This tool actually does the trick in enabling you to remove the boot without potentially breaking the spark plug. It will also limit but certainly not fully prevent you from tearing the rubber boots. If your Mercedes spark plugs have not been changed for 50-70+ miles, expect to tear at least half of the boots, as the rubber will have become bonded to the plugs. If you have never changed these type of spark plugs, be sure to take your time, as it is quite different. You need to pull straight-back, not side to side. This tool helps to get the leverage you need, using two hands. Again, this tool will not fully prevent you from tearing a boot, unless you have previously changed the plugs and used dielectric grease to prevent the boot from bonding to the neck of the spark plugs, unlike what the factory uses, which appears to create the problem in the first place. If this is your first time, buy extra boots from somewhere where they can be returned if not needed.

It is designed exactly what it is for
Perfect to remove sparkplug ignition cables on Mercedes Engines. It worked like all YouTube Mercedes 2005 E320 V6 Sparkplug replacement training clips with ease. Hope this helps.

Definitely a tool worth having if for specific applications.
While researching procedures for replacing valve cover gaskets on a M112 V6 Mercedes Benz engine, it was stated that the spark plug wires need to be removed. It was also stated that it can be very difficult to remove the spark plug wire boots by hand (almost impossible) and that the angle was awkward to get a normal wrench down onto the spark plug boot. This "crow foot" wrench solves that problem with it's angled design, and is the perfect length to easily pop off the spark plug boots with just a little bit of leverage. Its less than half the price of the official Mercedes Benz tool for this job, but does what it need to do perfectly.
