All the negative reviews are people who didn't realize these aren't full size dodgeballs. These are about the size of a baseball (2.75 inches in diameter). If you have ever use Gator skin or Rhino skin balls you know they are great for dodgeball. These are just smaller versions of it.

I purchased these balls for playing dodgeball with my class. I did a search for "dodgeball", and saw this set of 6 for around $19. Unfortunately, I ordered them without looking carefully at the size of the balls. I was expecting an actual dodgeball, but got a set of tiny foam balls that were smaller than a tennis ball. The price was ridiculous for such a tiny ball. I couldn't think of anyway to make use of these very tiny, lightweight foam balls, and I had to send them back.

Good quality, but disappointed that the stated size, 3.25 inches is incorrect. They measure 3.5 inches. For my purpose this was too big.

I really love these balls. They are prefect for my baseball unit since they can be used both indoors and outdoors. The material is soft enough that it won't hurt my students if they accidentally get hit, yet sturdy enough to be used when hit with a bat.

These are supposed to be a set of six but only one arrived. I contacted them for a replacement and got another one. I never got the pack of six. They're not that great of quality.

They are very nice balls, easy to grip and not too firm that it hurts when they smack against your partner. Sizing the balls is important depending on the game and player. Sometimes it is fun to play with the smaller balls as they do fit easier in one hand for more control but some folks may be disappointed when they tear open the package only to see the balls are smaller than they had been imagining. (The 2.75" are slightly larger than a baseball).They do retain their shape, so if the ball gets stepped on it is not painful as it quickly resumes its shape. There are plenty of fun colors as well. If you for instance get stuck with the blue ball, you could play a game with yourself in the corner of the gym or against the wall since they do bounce nicely, and then just join back in for the next round once you've shot away your frustrations.

These worked for what I got them for...an office pick-me-up...they have a little bit of bounce, not like a rubber ball but you don't need to "spike" it to make it bounce. The colors were accurate, and the texture feels a lot like a stress ball, although I don't know how well the finish will hold up if it's squeezed repeatedly, it feels a little crackly/wrinkly. There is a teeny air vent included so if these get wet, I'm pretty sure the good times are over.But now we have toys at work!

These things are tiny! They are a little bit larger than a walnut, so be careful ordering if you are looking for something full size. (This listing uses what appears to be the same picture as the listing for the larger dodgeballs.) The only redeeming thing about this is that Amazon has outstanding customer service and takes them back without you paying shipping. Save yourself the time, though, and order the more expensive set so that you get what you were hoping for.
