Great Convection Oven
I enjoy using this oven over my big built in oven. There are some legitiment complaints on amazon about this item:Cord to short: true, but uses extension cord, manufacturer knows this and keeps it short on purpose to protect agains any lawsuit/recall issues since this item is lightweight and can be moved or pulled off counter top very easy.Claims of Overcooking: If you dont know how to adjust to convection cooking, which simply means the hot air in your oven is moved around the item cooking by fans, Yes, you will over cook items, best way is to check food 5-10minutes prior to timer going off.Tempeture way off : Nope temp works perfect, remember, you do NOT Check Temp on convection setting, it is done on Bake Setting, if convection setting is being used, please adjust cooking time or use method stated above.Cant use Aluminium foil:False, you can use it with no problem, as long as you dont block fan ducts ot touch heating elements, please re-read that phrase in instruction booklet,Glass door breaks: To new to answer this one, just be careful when opening door, door has handle and does open much further then big ovens.Cant tell when oven is in bake or broil mode on digital controls:Well, if you cant see it, i suggest getting eyesight checked, Not a problem on my oven and i wear glasses.Oven gets hot when in use:True but not any hotter then a regular toaster oven gets when in use.Oven does not use regular bakeware sizes:Depends on what you are trying to use, oven hold 13 by 9 cookware and holds 16 inch pizza pan, oven does not use full size broiler pan, but comes with one that can be used, it slides in under rack and you bake, broil or grill on the rack above pan, very nice feature.Hope i covered the major complaints or questions being asked, in closing let me say that this oven is a very nice change on very hot days when you dont want the kitchen cooking from the big oven, it can be used in apts where no oven is available for 2 to 3 people, Oven has 2 racks, where you see them in picture is where you can put them, both shelfs come out for easy cleaning and yes, you can cook a full turkey or chicken in this oven, i would not try and cook Thanksgiving dinner in this due to its size but its nice as a seperate oven to heat items already cooked and as timesaver goes, dont look for major time saved by using this item, maybe 5 to 10 minutes per item, but you do save electricity which saves you money using this over your big oven when you can.

Great for baking bread.
My 40 year old Sharp microwave/convection oven finally quit with a pop recently. It's microwave was weak by todays standards but it was also a great convection oven, $550 in 1983 when I bought it new. This Oster oven is near same size as the Sharp was. So far I used it mainly to bake my bread at 450F, it's highest setting using the convection setting.Select the convection first if wanting to use it because it won't switch to convection after selecting bake settings. The convection fan is not a cooling fan that makes lot of noise, it circulates the air around in the cavity as it should.I use a cold start to bake my bread using a 2 quart clay baker with lid, convection setting at 450 degrees for 35 minutes bake time. That's five minutes faster than using my full sized, Whirl Pool electric oven. My two quart clay baker with lid fits nicely in the cavity to where air can circulate properly. Bread turns out perfect!Oven makes a beep sound when set temp is reached and makes lots of noise when baking time is up, you can't miss it.Now the not so good. The display window is really small, even lit, the function names are really hard to read but once you know your oven that matter anymore. The clock and temperature are adequate for setting up your bake time and temperature settings. The cavity is not lit, it's not a big for this large counter top oven. At countertop level, It is much easier to see inside then your much lower kitchen stove cavity.I bent the lip of the crumb tray up enough so it would easily slide under the heating element to catch anything that drops down there. Foil as it is not recommended to be used.A David Burk gourmet, diamond surface HD cookie sheet (sold at Amazon) fits perfectly in the cavity guides. It's baking surface size is 10 X 15. The overall size is 15 9/16ths X 10 9/16's

Outstanding
First let me say this review is nearly 7 years old. I purchased this oven in October of 2016 and it is STILL going strong.During the summer, in an effort to not have to turn on the oven and make the house hot I use this one. When I tell you this oven has been a life saver for large dinners, holiday meals, annual pic nice and through losing gas because of work being done. It has managed to keep my well planned meals in tact.It has survived 2 moves and is STILL going strong. I swear I looked at the price I paid and the asking price now and am astonished. The oven works great from baking a cake to the best macaroni and cheese. This is more of an oven to me.I am now noticing that I need to double check the hearing sometimes to make sure it is at the expected temp, but other than that it still works wonderful
