I love these little Logitech mice!
Had Logitech V450 Nano for about 15 years, used it almost daily (including numerous accidents - falling off desks, having water spilt on him) and alas, he has moved to the mouse house in the sky now.So pleased I managed to find this one - the same shape and weight! Works just the same, simple three buttons (left, right, middle one scrolls and clicks). Battery life is excellent. Nice and solid little mouse (I have small hands so this is great). The dongle fits inside it for when travelling. And the red colour makes it stand out so it doesn't get pinched when visiting the office. Highly recommended.

Basic mouse but works very well!
The M525 seems to be a decent little mouse, albeit not having a completely premium feel.To those confused about "not receiving" the batteries and USB receiver - they're sent within the mouse itself. Just use the release button on the underside and remove the top section which has the Logitech logo on it.USB receiver was automatically recognised and setup on Windows 11, literally plug 'n play. It has a nice and responsive sensitivity setting out of the box, quickly nipping the mouse cursor all over the screen without multiple swipes of the mouse itself. It's also accurate on miniscule movements too, so it's great to use for general Windows / application use. I was expecting side buttons as the description stated it had back and forward buttons, but this is actually just done by pushing the mouse wheel left and right - I initially wasn't keen on this but I quickly found it to work as well if not easier than side buttons operated by thumb and other fingers. I use this while on my sofa so this mouse picks up movement perfectly when used on leather, so it'll likely work well with most surfaces as well. It has good range too - my PC is upstairs and it works fine downstairs (about 10 feet down and 8 feet across, obviously through flooring). The only non-ideal factor is the quality / feel of the mouse wheel when scrolling up / down - while it functions smooth enough you can clearly feel "cogging" and it can be quite noisy (almost silent if moved slowly but quite loud when moved quickly) so this part doesn't feel particularly premium. That said, I had a Microsoft mouse wheel feel very smooth and was quiet but went faulty within just 2 weeks, so as long as this M525 holds up then it'll do. I can't comment on battery life & long term usage but it has an on / off switch underneath so you can conserve the batteries if you won't use the mouse for a while or go travelling with it. It seems like it's a quality device and has a surprisingly solid weight to it for it's size yet it's still light upon use, so it feels well balanced in general use. The USB dongle can apparently receive 6 wireless devices at a time (presumably / possibly if they're all Logitech?) so my next keyboard will likely be from same manufacturer for ease of use and decent quality of the brand. There may be better mice for the price, but there'll definitely be worse for the purse, so this gets my thumbs up! :)

No bells, no whistles
This is a first class wireless mouse. Easy to install and very comfortable to use. My hand sits on it comfortably , it moves easily and the left and right clicks and the scroll wheel work very naturally. For every day purposes it is perfect, with no complicated gaming stuff to go wrong. It looks smart too and seems to be solidly built. I’m very pleased with it. And I think good value for money too.

Nice rolling wheel, very precise. Seems to work on most surfaces. Would buy again.
The plastic blister pack was a nightmare to open and get it out. Despite a sharp blade being used. If Logitech are reading this you need to get it In touch with me I have a better non plastic alternative. It's a danger to the public at present..

Excellent performance although pricey
This mouse is a replacement for an older model I previously had. The previous one was superb, and this one seems to be so too. It worked straightaway on the Unifying system with other components I already have (e.g. my existing RX module). It works on a very large range of surfaces, although not clear glass of course!Took some tracking down to find someone in Europe who had stock...Is it hard to buy because it's end of line? Hard to say, because it's still shown as a current product on Logitech's website.

Great Mouse
This is a great mouse, bought to replace my previous Logi M525 mouse, which is still going strong after 12 years (but demoted to kids computer mouse). Very highly recommended. Yes it's pricier than some but after 12 years it paid for itself.

good purchase
This was a replacement purchase for the same mouse I've had for years. It's very comfortable to use and works great. I didn't realize how bad the old one was until I got the new one. I'm a fan!

Solid product
I’ve used several Logitech mouse and the mouse wheel always became lose or won’t scroll anymore. Or the buttons became lose and no clicky feeling. So I changed it to Microsoft mouse for long time until it recently died. I decided to gave another try on this one and it didn’t disappoint me so far. (Few months now)The scrolling is very smooth and I like the ergonomic design (I don’t see it very ergonomic but it’s a comfortable design). Hopefully it will last for a while.

A great mouse
Great quality!!! I had this mouse before but it stopped working after 7 years once i accidentally dropped it on the floor. I was really happy to see it still being sold and for a sale price at that. It’s a very practical mouse for basic use (browsing, etc.) and I also use it for gaming.

Cordialement.
