Does the job
For anyone who knows what liquid white is/does it's perfect. (Liquid white is a very thin base coat added before any paint, for canvas oil painting, allowing one to use the wet on wet technique (Bob Ross) THE LEGEND

LOVE BOB
I am not a painter and I don't know if a cheaper version of this paint is available. This stuff is expensive for my budget, but I wanted to be sure I had the correct stuff. If you know your paints, you can probably find a cheaper version out there. I am rather happy to look at Bob's image on the pot, so I guess its inspiration is worth the extra money this time.

Deal breaker
Bought for my husband. He hasn't used it yet but I have in the past. It is an excellent product and doesn't break the bank. A surprising result of buying Bob Ross liquid white was how happy it made the usual grumpy old man. It turned him from the Christmas Grinch in to one of Bob Ross's happy little accidents. His smile looks as though it has been painted on. Bob Ross I salute you.

The only Gesso to use
For painting wet on wet this is the only product to use.You don't need much, it covers really well and allows oil paints to flow easily. Thee are cheaper brands available, but you would be wasting your money. Although this is labelled as "Bob Ross" I believe the actual manufacturer is Winsor and Newton.

Does the job
Very expensive for the little amount you get. I'll mix my own from now on. Did and does the job.
