Cafe Firenze Cookbook: Food and Drink Recipes from the Tuscan Sons Hardcover – August 1, 2009

Great book. One thing I noticed is that it was owned by someone else as it was autographed to her. Don't get me wrong it was in excellent condition however, it's drinks are complicated if you want to make the garnishes, personally I'm not that talented. Ms.D makes the cocktailswithout the eye catching garnishes. It was great to see how Fabio started out I'm a big fan of his style and attitude towards food. Fabio keep doing what you do & I will follow you, BTW thanks for sharing how to make pasta dough in less than 3 minutes, (love you grandma but really who has that amount of time).

I read this book like a chef's guide to good food, not just for the recipes. Fabio explains why he doesn't offer a recipe for chicken--he doesn't know where your chicken came from, so he really can't tell you how to cook it, and he certainly can't vouch for its quality, and ultimate tastiness. If you've seen Fabio on Top Chef, you'll recognize his voice coming through in his writing. The pictures are stunning and make me want to lick the page.

WOW...Did I like the restaurant and even more tne book! I have been recommending the book even though we have over 1,000 cookbooks in our library. This is indeed is a winner! Next time I am in the area I am going back in for an autograph. They know what they are doing!! Great food! Great recipies. Great photos! I love the book!!

I have all of Fabio's other cookbooks and they are fantastic. This was a huge letdown.

This book is thoroughly entertaining reading as well as a good cookbook. It shares the lives of the two owners to give you a better understanding of their passion for great food and drinks. Because the writings of both men were not edited, you feel as if they are speaking to you. I really enjoyed this insightful book. It's fun and the receipes are great!

OOOO, I'm about to start cookin up a storm!!! I've been dyring to read this book and I'm instantly in love. Book came in clean and safe and QUICK!!! You sir, have my business.

Although a fan of Fabbio on Top Chef, I found this book to be egocentric and self serving. I even found some of the passages in the book offensive to a consumer.Book did not contain that many recipes and each recipe was followed by a mixed drink recipe. It seemed that each mixed drink was more difficult to make than they food because the recipe went on for 3 to 4 pages. Recipes were not that special. Book falls into the category of new celebrity chef - buy my stuff because I am who I am, not because I make really good food or have something original to offer.
