Reliable Protection Plan
I always purchase the Asurion or any other protection plan to secure my purchases. I make sure of what warranties are available on the item itself ie 1-2 year, then make the decision to purchase the protection beyond that and it hasn't failed. My product most always break even after the company has done their part of replacing or fixing an item under warranty. So, with that being said, these protection plans come in handy. You get back the amount you spent on purchases via gift card. That is a win win situation! Make sure to know what warranty your product carries, that is the catch.

Positive Experience
So glad we purchased Asurion for our electric kettle. The on/off button stopped working and we submitted a claim online - took 2 mins and we received a return label via email within hours of submitting. Shipped it back and received a reimbursement soon after. Highly recommend!

Good insurance coverage
I bought the item 3 years ago but it stopped working in last some days. I just remembered that I had the insurance so I filed the claim. It was quick and easy. It was processed very quick too. So far very satisfied with the services.

HUMANE (not just human) agent, good listener, volunteered perfect solution
This was the 2nd time my very favorite, lovely white & clear glass tea kettle (by Aigostar) suddenly quit working (no pretty blue light nor heating element working) - and this time after only 4 months. I was very glad I'd chosen an Asurion warranty, especially after my experience with the Amazon seller. Like so many eBay sellers who could not speak English & wouldn't bother using GoogleTranslate (never before with an Amazon seller) he had insisted upon a PHOTO of the teapot before granting my well-deserved refund. No photo on earth would reveal that the electric power had stopped working!!! I have serious PTSD and burst into tears at learning this, since I don't know how to use a digital camera and have had to give up on getting multiple eBay refunds in the past for that very reason. I then reached out to Asurion who felt that in my particular case it wasn't a good idea to try struggling with the seller (altho his warranty was still in effect), and Asurion told me that PART OF THEIR SERVICE is to help provide the refund when a seller is resisting his responsibility like this case of requiring a totally useless photo that I couldn't provide anyway). I hated to put this on Asurion, but they urged me not to feel bad and not to ruin my day any further. Then, they assured me that my same warranty would continue on for the rest of the 2 years EVEN IF I chose to replace that same item from a different Amazon seller, that the warranty covers the ITEM - not any specific seller. I was very moved by their helpfulness, as I am elderly, have heart trouble, and very severe PTSD that makes it hard for me to reach out or conquer high-stress challenges anymore. They immediately sent me a postage paid return label via e-mail, and the moment I took the package to UPS (Staples nearby) they issued a REFUND to me via e-mail that could be spent on a new pot IMMEDIATELY. Great folks!!!!!
