AP APP326000 35mm Film Winder - Multi-Colour

Been eyeing an Arista Bulk Loader for the past few months and I finally pulled the trigger. After I ordered it, I believe (based on USPS tracking) that Photo Warehouse shipped it out the same day. The packaged arrived in Hawaii only four days after they shipped it!The bulk loader is great. It has a very sturdy build and nice, dense plastic. When shaken while empty, absolutely nothing rattles around. Although I have not used the typical Watson or Alden loaders, I believe that this one is worth the money. Along with the frame counter to assist you in loading a reloadable magazine, this film loader is also equipped with a dial letting you know how many more feet/meters of film you have left. Something I didn't realize from posts and pictures around the web was that the detachable handle, when inserted, does not allow the loading door on top to be opened preventing you from exposing a middle section of your film.Keep in mind that when the handle isn't inserted, you cannot advance any film through the film gate - this is necessary when first load your 100' roll into the machine!

This is a good loader. Watch out that you don't lose the small handle though.If you do, as of now replacements are available at Freestyle Photo.It's one problem is that it cannot be used to load labyrinth film cassettes, suchas those for the Leica or Nikon rangefinders, or the F or F2 SLR cassettes. Itlacks the ability to close their light traps after loading them. Very few people usethose cassettes nowadays though. If you don't know what these are, don't worry.

Using it for some time. Work as it shouldaccurate frame counting and easy to use.

Fast shipping. No light leaks, no film scratches, easy to use. Hope it continues to operate so flawlessly. Only complaint - I wish it were free!

Breaks easily. Hard to load. Purchased one and loaded a bulk roll. Everything went well. 2nd bulk roll it jammed and broke. Returned and got a new one. Seemed to work well. Loaded another bulk roll only to have it jam and break again.

It looks good. Havn't use it yet. hope to reduce my cost after using bulk film.

I tested it with a strip of film which I loaded on a canister. I did a shoot and processed the neg and it appears there aren't any light leaks.
