My granddaughter absolutely loves this. She and her older sister play together (2 dolls-part of the reason I bought it). The clothes pieces are plentiful and so colorful! Made from wood and very sturdy. Pieces and dolls fit nicely back into the box. Extremely satisfied!

We purchased this set as well as two other Melissa and Doug dress up doll set for our daughter for Christmas. They are all absolutely wonderful. Very well made. The type of toy that you can pass from child to child. My daughter loves to dress up all the dolls and then stand them up and play pretend (like they are all going to a ball). These dolls keep her occupied for at least an hour, absolutely amazing!Our one complaint with this set is some of the clothing in this set was a little to "small". There are some mini skirts and belly shirts in this set it seems and for our family that is not appropriate clothing for a 3+ year old to be learning about. However, I did voice my concern with the company directly (Melissa and Doug) and they were extremely prompt in a response and were eager to rectify my issue. I have not experienced such great customer service in a very long time! Our family will now be life long consumers of Melissa and Doug products as they had already won me over with the quality of their products and now we have the absolute cherry on top of fantastic, friendly and quick customer service!Great company and great products!Also, out of all the items my daughter received for Christmas these are what she has been playing with for the past week.I also love that the box has suggestions for educational uses for these dolls!I wanted to make note that I've read some of the other reviews about wishing there was a lid to this product. Yes, that would be nice but it really hasn't been a problem for us as our daughter has been told that after you are done playing with the dolls all items must be picked up and put neatly back in the container. But a lid would be nice for transportation purposes. Especially since the container that it comes in is so nice.

This is undoubtably a very nice set. The dolls, clothes and accessories are of excellent quality. I think that the size of everything is perfect and it includes a nice large selection of outfits. My problem with the set is the storage. It absolutely needs a lid! As said, there’s a lot of pieces. It has a nice wooden base, but you must store it completely flat in a place where it won’t be disturbed. You cannot store it in a toybox because all the pieces will fall out and more than likely get lost. The little shoes will probably get thrown in the garbage because you may not be able to identify them as part of the collection. Also, I do not agree with the recommended age range of 3-6 years. My 3-year-old granddaughter likes the set, but it doesn’t hold her attention for long. Also, I believe that children over 6 and well into elementary school will enjoy playing with this set.

I am a teacher, and this toy is a beloved thing in my classroom! My original was fading and the magnet on the girls weren't holding up well, so I was happy to find out that I could still replace it!

My nieces love playing with these dolls. The magnet strength is good, the items stay on the doll when it's being moved around, but it's not so strong that the 3 year old couldn't easily remove things. It has a lot of clothes/accessory options, which comes in handy with two small children, otherwise these two would argue about who gets to "wear" what. It comes in a nice wooden tray, there's no real lid for it, just a thin plastic piece that sits over the center section. I would have liked to have a lid that latches in some way to make it easy to store, but overall it's a great toy that keeps the kids entertained for hours.
