This is an OK pot, so far. I got this strictly for deep frying and to keep on my stove. Lots of reviews talk about the handle being loose. If you secure it the correct way it is not loose at all. All four prongs need to be inserted inside the basket, not just the two larger prongs.I don’t like that after buying it the note inside the box states that the thermometer only is for the temperature outside of the pot and not inside of the pot. Stupid.And my other complaint is that the lid does not fit securely on the pot, unless the handle is taken completely off of the basket. Which defeats my entire purpose. I wanted it to stay on my stove with the lid on it with oil inside. Even when the handle is bent down, the lid does not fit on all the way. And if it did, I wouldn’t do that anyways because the handle bends all the way back into the oil. No, thank you.Even though the thermometer does not give the true temperature of the oil as I needed, and rests at a constant 40c, I’m curious to see how well it still works after being put in the dishwasher. Because they usually don’t afterwards.And then I will be sad because I like knowing the temperature in the air around me as I am cooking.lol.So far it’s OK. Maybe not worth such a large price. As always, I’ll update with any issues.

Much too large. Drain does not fit into pot for storing. Would not purchase again.

Loved it, made deep frying very easy and cleaning it was a cinch.

I thought I bought the perfect stovetop deep fryer. Turns out NOT. When the oil heated up to temperature 350 degrees, the handles on the pot were hot even through my mitts the lid was also to hot to handle. I do not feel safe using this product. Too late to send it back. I really have no use for it.

I love this deep fryer. It’s thick and sturdy stainless steel and big. Fries everything great. Just fried some fish tonight, came out perfect.
