This is an absolutely excellent mint flavor that I use for making different fudge flavors like mint cookies & cream.

For MY purposes it works fine and certainly is a bargain. I like to dump some into a freshly-made batch of green tea (I brew in bulk and refrigerate.) Iced green tea with peppermint...sweetened or otherwise...,is a very refreshing summer slurp. Peppermint TEA weakens the final tea product, but this product works fine to add a good peppermint flavor. Would probably work well with bottled water to make an el-cheapo Metro Mint type beverage, too. I'm not a baker to know how well this would work in a baked product or in peppermint ice cream. It might, but I'm not sure.

this product was delivered quickly. I rated it 4 star because, on the first 2 uses, it seemed to be a little less strong than the product I have been using. The good price on this item compensates for this.

Very potent and effective

Alcohol, Glycerin and Peppermint Oil appear on the label. Exp. Date is 08/2024. If you like mild or light peppermint extract, this may be what you need. Perhaps it was just the one bottle received by this account holder. I was not at all impressed. It was pepperminty smelling, but did nothing on any bugs this summer or fall. Was nowhere near as potent as I expected an extract to be for the volume I acquired. It honestly seemed watered down and I can not in good faith say I was satisfied by this product or that I benefited from its use or acquisition. Peppermint candies had a higher percentage of peppermint in them than this one pint bottle of peppermint extract. I was honestly saddened. Life's not perfect and things don't always go as you would like. With standards and practices in place, I would hope everyone would arrive to the conclusion that peppermint extract sould be very strong and in need of dulling down. That's why receipes call for sparse use of it, just a drop or less and not 3/4 Cups of peppermint extract. If you're going to do something, do it. If you wanted a honest unabashed or biased review, you just read one.

I bought this 16oz bottle due the price. Way cheaper than buying the little bottles at the grocery store. Im using it as a mouse deterrent. Read online that mice hate this stuff. I was thinking this large bottle vs low cost meant it would be "watered down" in some way, but smells just as strong as the little bottle version. Can't beat it.
