My hunter fan lights quit working. the lights are halogen. i think the incandescent regulator model number hqm190a went out. how do i check this?

I am uncertain how to check your limiter switch however, for me, I simply took a shot in the dark and replaced my switch as it was demonstrating the same kind of behavior that a bad switch exhibited. Easy to remove and install.... solved my issue easily.

My Hunter fan limiter only has 2 wires. Will this replace it ?

I used this limiter on a Harbor Breeze Fan light fixture. The 3 wires are: red-Input, blue-Output, white-Common. The PW-190 limits the total wattage of your light fixture to no-to-exceed 190 watts. It is wired in series with the light pull switch. Will this replace your 2 wire limiter? I recommend you get a limiter compatible with your Hunter fan light fixture wiring.
