I used the measurements from the size chart. Bad idea, it was one size bigger. Overall it looks good and the material feels top quality. Just sizing was the issue.

I have had these about six months and only worn a handful of times. I work from home full time but bought these to wear for a couple of business trips. Worn them maybe three or four times? Seeing these strange patterns on the finish. I do not scrape them or scratch them, I’m very particular with everything I own, so was super sad to see these do not wear very well at all. What a waste of money on what I thought would be good quality shoes.

U.S. Size 8 corresponds to 8.5, i.e. is half a size larger in my opinion. Worked better for me actually.This shoe is all genuine leather, outside and inside, super comfortable, warm in freezing temps, extremely breathable. Highly recommend.

This is my second pair after returning the first pair. I am a size 9 in US size for most of my shoes. Against the customer advice I ordered a 9, or 42, and realized it ran way too large. I am more of a narrow foot person. So I returned and got a smaller size 8.5 US, or 41. And it was just a bit too loose in both the toe and the heel.. and because of the closed lacing system I couldn't tie shoes tight enough or else I'd warp the leather. All in all I'm disappointed, the shoe is real nice and looks and feels of high quality, but I haven't been able to find a fitting shoe. I'm afraid if I go another half size lower it would be too tight.
