MXJSUA Hummingbird and Bluebird Diamond Art Painting Kit - Full Round Drill Flowers by Number for Adults - 12X16 Inch/30x40 cm

UPDATE: The drills in this kit FAR EXCEED QUALITY of an expensive kit not found on Amazon, but heavily endorsed and shown on many of the YouTube tutorials. I now have a bit more experience and know what a "good" and "bad" drill is. Since this project, I ordered a diamond painting from a company frequently mentioned on YouTube tutorials/unpackaging videos. Paid $65.00. The painting was beautiful. The drills were awful. They weren't uniform in size, didn't "snuggle" up to one another, there were tons of cupped, tabbed, misshapen drills, so many that I quit sorting and just used what I picked up with my pen. The painting has gaps between lines and crooked lines. I saved the many extra drills from this hummingbird picture and just now went back to confirm what I remembered...NO cups, tabs, misshapen, trash, which is reason why my hummingbird picture is so beautiful. The drills snuggle up to one another, making it easy to keep lines straight and without gaps. I am almost done with the expensive one, and I can't wait to start my next MXJSUA that I ordered a month ago. END UPDATE................This was my first attempt at diamond art. This was so easy! The picture is beautiful, colorful and sparkling. I have looked at pictures other customers have submitted, and none do it justice. If I had looked at the submitted pictures to make my choice, this would have been a work I would not have chosen. The finished product, really, is much prettier than what customer photos depict. I also took a picture, but the lighting is such that it just doesn't do this diamond art justice, so I decided not to post it. If you love this picture, I guarantee you will love the end product!There were enough drills to complete the project, with lots of each color left over. Since this is my first project, with nothing to compare it to, I really can't address quality of drills. All I know is that were a few that were obviously smaller, some not quite as shiney, but I used them anyway because I didn't realize I would have so many left over drills, but the quality of my picture wasn't affected...can't see that anything is off.For my first project, I felt this was a great success. The pack included plenty of drills, wax enough to complete project, a green tray and a couple of placers. Also, no problems with the drills sticking to the canvas.I will buy from this company again. If you like this flower/humming bird picture, BUY IT, great pix and price!

It's really important for the code list to be easily readable as well as easily matched on the canvas. I have had some where no matter what I did I could not read the numbers/symbols on the code list or on the canvas. This one was really easy, which makes it so much fun to do. I would recommend this to any adult or older child as I am sure you will enjoy it. It comes out nice enough that with a pretty frame you could use it as a gift!

Overall I did like this diamond painting. It included plenty of drills and included a good amount of wax the letters were also nice and clear. I did like the variety and vibrancy of the colors. For the price I think the quality overall was good. There were only two things I think could be improved. First is that the painting be rolled not folded. The hard crease prevents the drills from sticking well. Secondly the quality of drills wasn't great. There were a lot of inconsistent sizes some were too large and some were really tiny so they didn't fit properly and created weird gaps or created crowding. Some pieces were just deformed drills. Besides that I enjoyed working on this piece. If those two things were improved this would easily be rated five stars.

The media could not be loaded. I didn't have any problems with this hummingbird. I had plenty of drills to complete and symbols were easy to read. Adhesive was fine. I did choose to substitute all ABs on the humminbird so it's super sparkly and also I did the flowers with ABs. You probably can't tell from the pics cuz you really can't capture how shiny the ABs are but in person it's really cool looking. I'd recommend this one.

This was my first time doing one of these and this set was great as a beginner. It was completely covered in a high-quality adhesive that held the jewels firmly. The instructions were very clear and helpful. The colors are also so vibrant and beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing project!

Great painting

This was actually so much fun. It was my first time doing a diamond painting after wanting one for months. I will say with this one specifically you want pay to pay the few extra dollars on the thing that places multiple diamonds because this was very tedious at parts. It took me about a week to finish with doing it a few hours a day. The numbers were easy to read, I had plenty of wax, and had no problem with the adhesion. My back and neck are mad at me though from the constant looking down lol.
