I used these brass rods to make a little circuit sculpture for my apartment that displays the current temperature indoors. Worked great for that application. This size fits perfectly in to the pin header holes on a microcontroller.I will for sure be buying more. I'm a little new to this world but it seems like K&S Metals is the go-to company for brass rods like this. Everybody loves them, I see why.

Oh my goodness. I love it when things are perfect!: - )The holes I make for pieces of rods like this, are accurate to within 0.00025". Now I have a range of reamers that I can use, if need be. To get a hole exactly where I want it, but his 5/32" (0.15625") O.D. Brass rod Arrived here measuring . . . . . wait for it . . . . 0.156250". That's accurate to 1 millionth of an inch! I almost fainted, when I measured it. Once, twice, three times!Now I realize that most people buying this rod for, whatever. Don't need this level of accuracy. Heck, even I don't need it quite this accurate. But it is nice to have, and to get this level of quality from K&S. It's good to know that K&S is still a great American company!Thank you, K&S. I applaud you.

Works well for me, how the spring mechanism at first was a little hard to work. Gets better with use.

Great for a shear pin on a Boat Motor

I had pretty much given up on finding the right size, and was just scrolling through the search to see what was there. When I found it it just happened to be cheaper than any k&s brass I have ever bought which surprised me because there were some really high prices in the search. In the end, with free prime shipping, the only one that made money on this deal was me!
