I use this primarily for stabilizing the stretchy edges of minky type fabric before sewing. It makes sewing minky sooo much easier. I cut roughly half inch strips and stick it to the wrong side of the stretchy side of the minky. Then just wash the finished project and it dissolves away. For the person who gave the one star review- you are supposed to remove the paper backing before sewing! It is a little pricey which is why I cut 1/2” strips. That is enough to stabilize the edge while I sew it and I find I don’t need as many pins (altho you still need plenty but I used to triple row my pins when sewing minky, with this I can get away with one row of pins and clips along the edge. I got the tip to use this with minky from Fabric Patch in Ephrata Wa.

So easy to use. Holds everything in place and stabilizes nicely. Since you can print, write, trace or draw directly on the stabilizer there is no need for transfer paper and it washes out and dissolves leaving no trace. Really great stuff.

It's easy to use BUT I've printed designs out and the ink of the printer does not completely wash away. It actually dyed some of the lighter thread which was disappointing after hours of hard work. It otherwise works well as a stabilizer and I'm hoping I won't have as big of an issue with it not washing out.

I’ve been buying this brand for years. They last a long time and dissolve with no problem :)

I've been using this non-stop for my embroidery projects. It pretty much takes away the need for everything else because you can print your designs right onto the stabilizer. It's also fairly see-through (not translucent but kind of like tracing paper) so you can trace designs as well. It also comes off easier than I imagined it would. Super glad I found this!
