Great product, great price
This part was an exact match for my washer! I was able to install in less then 5 minutes and it fixed my (DE) error code and has allowed it to start working again. Furthermore this part was 1/4 the price of buying it from a big retail store and allows for the same functionality!!

Came a day late, but worked well
I ordered this for my LG WM2655HVA, and it was supported to come in three days. After the third day, it had not even shipped, so I ordered two more from a different source that would be delivered the quickest (one new and one used). Both of the other locks combined were less than this one, and this one was 1/3 the price quoted by a local appliance parts store.In the end, this one was shipped, delivered, and installed on the fourth day. It is working fine. Note that it has a different design compared to the original, but fits and functions just like the original. The other two locks that I ordered will be kept as a backup and/or used for my electronics hobby. These devices are very interesting, and there are several videos that show how they work.

DE code still there!
Replace old lock with new lock, reset code and still have the DE error, thus leaving me with a non working wash machine and dirty clothes piling up!

Fixed my washer!
My washer started stopping mid or beginning of cycle showing the message “ Door is open. Please close door to continue cycle”, but my door WAS closed (but not locking properly). It seemed obvious that the latch system was failing. This product matched the failed part from my (14+ yr old) LG washer perfectly!! Quick shipping, and it was super easy to replace on my own after watching a quick YouTube video. This part was less than $25 and saved me hundreds of dollars that I otherwise would have had to pay a repair person. And given how old my washer and dryer set is, it would’ve made more sense to buy a new one than pay for an expensive repair visit. So thankful this little part gave my washer more life!
