Falcon 22cm Oblong Pie Dish White - 44022

All the Falcon items are sturdy, vintage-looking and useful in many ways. This small dish is sure to come in handy for serving and entertaining as well as in the oven.My only regret is that I did not notice I had ordered only one, when I meant to order two. They come from the UK so take a while to arrive. Wish they could be more widely available in the US.

Arrived quicker than I expected. It does have a couple of very small scratches or nicks in it but I can live with those, I have wanted another pan like this for a long time, I have a pan that I inherited over 50 years ago from a great aunt that works great and this pan matches the cooking ability for steak pie and I hope for the durability.

Seemed good when they first arrived, but the enamel on this is super fragile was drying them and dropped on into the sink on another one. Enamel around bot rims came off in large chunks. Not sure what I'll use them for now, may relegate to a craft project or donate, but highly disappointed the enamel coatings were that delicate. I have a lot of other enamelware that I use in the kitchen all the time. I have dropped many of those items from standing height onto the floor and never had them take damage. Will not buy more and too late to send them back.

It’s a very good pan, but it’s too small to bake anything in, unless it’s for one person.

Excellent product! So glad to be able to buy enamelware as it's far superior to anything. Natural non-stick without chemicals. Sturdy. Well made. Shipping was fast and well packaged for a safe arrival!

First of all, I’m not complaining at all, in any way about the advertised size. I can read quite well thank you and know what 22cm means. Sometimes.It’s 40 odd years since we lived in Scotland, but I proudly announced that this New Year’s Day (to see the back of @#£& 2020), we would have a proper Ashet pie in a proper Ashet dish.My long suffering wife had visions of something out of Desperate Dan (for you youngster that’s an enormous cow pie, horns’in’all).My new Ashet arrived today. “Oh, it’s lovely”, commented wife. “Perfect size for just the two of us”.And you know what? It is. I can scale back on the huge order from the butcher and look forward to a more sensible effort.Still I think my little pie dish will serve us very well for years. In fact it looks so well made it will most likely outlast me!

It is a fabulous item and used daily as it is durable and looks lovely on the dining table. I use it in my air fryer oven as it is the perfect dimensions height and width wise. I pop it into the dishwasher and it comes out like new. Very good value for money and a versatile item.
