Sand Socks

I played beach volleyball nearly everyday for 5 months this year. I love these. I bought two pairs to switch out because when you work out and sweat in them, yes, they will start to stink. So needed another pair to use while I washed the other. This does a great job from keeping your feet from getting burned and blistered from hot sand. Plus, I've been playing at night recently and I wear them to keep to my toes from freezing so they work in the summer and in the winter. Putting them on is easy and I like the tall sock fit to avoided getting additional sand in them from playing. If you just need them to walk around, I think the short ones are totally fine. If you abuse them like I do, you'll get a few months out of them before the bottoms, right under the balls of feet, start to crack. They still work but you'll get a little more sand in your sock and will eventually need to replace them. Overall, they serve there purpose. They are slip resistant, comfy, and prevent sand burns. These aren't shoes to just remember that they will wear out more if you use them on normal pavement. 100% recommend for everyone, especially beach volleyballers.

Bought for gift . Worked good in hot sand

As an avid beach volleyball player, my feet are always scratchy from playing on sand. With these Sand Socks I can confirm that my feet feel slightly smoother and that they of course do not get sandy. There is nothing worse than putting on socks after getting your feet sandy, so these are a life-saver. The fit of the socks is slightly loose, but does not impede my mobility on the court. The durability of these is fair, but then again I do play volleyball in these quite frequently. One pair of these tends to last me a season of outdoor play, so I need a new pair basically every year. I am more than willing to pay the price for these rather than to pay the price of constantly exposing my feet to the sand. On top of protecting my feet, the designs that are available are pretty sheek. I would definitely recommend these to wear and play volleyball in.

I bought these for an upcoming beach vacation. I love to walk on the beach but my feet are very sensitive to the sand. I usually take a diving boot, but wanted to try something lighter. When I tried them on, I didnt think I would like them because they just felt too floppy . So I took both my diving boots and these sand socks with me. I wore these socks the whole time and never once, had to put on the diving boots. They worked as they should to protect my feet and were much easier to get on and off than I had expected. They still look good, so they will be going with me on my next trip.

I play volleyball in Wisconsin, so as you can imagine there are some pretty chilly nights with feet in the sand (to the point where it hurts). These are well worth the $22 I spend on them. The thicker neoprene bottoms have made playing in 40 degree weather bearable. My feet still feel a bit chilly but not cold and definitely not in pain like they are when I am bare foot. it took getting used to playing with something on my feet, and I am still not 100% used to it. But once you get over it, they are amazing. I have size 14M feet and the XL fits great, nice and snug, not too tight not too lose. They are exactly how I want them to fit. The only thing I think I would change is to provide a little bit more velcro, but they still hold without coming apart.

Without these socks I refuse to go to the beach. Living in South Florida they were a well needed purchase. If you are like me, and hate the feeling of sand on your feet or are sensitive to the heat of the sand, they are worth getting! They even provide extra protection from rocks in the water. I like that they are a little higher so that no sand will sneak inside them. Plus they are very easy to wash and clean off before getting in your car.

Way too big. I used the size chart and ordered a small. I usually wear a women's 7. They were at least an inch too long. The material was amazing and I hated to return the item.
