Olympian Labs Coral Calcium | 1g Per Serving | 1000 mg | 270 Capsules Supporting Healthy Bones and Joints

My Father in law has Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and his white blood count numbers were going up drastically and quickly. Within a 6 month time period, his numbers had gotten so high (100,000+) that the following months were sure to include some sort of measure to address the cancer (stem cell transplant, chemotherapy, etc). I did some research and ended up finding a webpage with a guy, who also had Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, who swore by coral calcium. His webpage didn't include any links, or any advertisements- it's as if he just wanted to help others...so I got this for my FIL and now he swears by it to. His numbers stopped increasing for the first time 2 months after taking this, and then at his 4 month check up his numbers went down, and continue to go down. We've been praying for him, and between that and this stuff, there's really been no other change (maybe a little more sleep).Regardless of what anyone says, cancer thrives in acidic environments, and coral calcium is alkaline.

I don't fully understand the physiology behind it, but I know when I am taking this particular brand of Coral Calcium regularly I am healthier and stronger than when I don't. I am a 48 year old mom and don't always have time to workout like I used to. When I'm taking this coral calcium supplement I seem to retain my strength better during off periods. I am also rarely sick when I'm taking it. Some sources suggest it balances our bodies pH so that we are not so acidic. Apparently diseases prefer an acidic environment. Or it could be the trace minerals that we don't usually have in our diets that are keeping me healthy. Again, I don't know exactly how it works, but it does for me.

I'm taking a few supplements so I can't say this is the magic bullet. But in combination with Calm magnesium, Omegavia EPA fish oil and Garden of Life prenatal vitamins (and nettle tea), I'm seeing a dramatic improvement in my pain relief. The pills have to be taken with food and they don't have a taste. The only drawback is that they contain magnesium oxide which is pretty difficult to absorb. I'd definitely recommend and I will re-order.

My husband's doctor recommended that he use Coral Calcium rather than Calcium Citrate. He's been taking Coral Calcium for years and has recently tried this one from Olympian Labs after doing some research. This is our third bottle. for me, as a woman, the doctors recommended 1500-2000 mg a day. I've tried many other calcium products (even coral calcium) but have a hard time swallowing the huge pills, so I tried these and am happy to say, they go down easily without gagging.

I was in need of some coral calcium but my regular brand I buy was not available on amazon prime for some reason. So I searched a little bit and came across this Olympian brand. I was available for Amazon prime shipping, and had a better price than my other brand. This is a good quality product and I will be ordering it again. Highly recommend.

My doctor recommended this product last year; since then my tests have shown good improvement in my skeleton frame.

The product description on Olympian Labs' website is very deceptive. It says it is "marine" coral and "The coral granules used for Olympian Labs Coral Calcium is responsibly harvested from the natural action of the **tides and waves**" which IMPLIES that they get it from the WATER (since they know educated coral calcium shoppers will be looking for that). And the description on Amazon flatly LIES, saying that they get it from the "bottom of the ocean." Yet I was told in an email from Olympian Labs (9-12-2016) that they get it from "above-sea mines." They use "above-sea" because it's cheaper to collect, but the email told at least 2 lies to make above-sea sound better. Lie 1: "Most coral minerals are 'harvested' – scraped or dredged – from accumulated debris found in and around living coral reefs. This harvesting process is destructive to the reefs themselves..." Real marine coral from Okinawa Japan is collected from ocean trenches at least a MILE from the coral reefs and does absolutely no harm to the reefs. Lie 2: Coral from above-sea mines "has been purified by centuries of exposure to the energy-producing cosmic rays of the sun". No, it has been WEATHERED by rain to uselessness! Olympian Labs coral has NO noticeable health benefit. I now use other brands that actually come from the WATER (e.g. Coral Advantage, Coral Calcium Supreme), and they work wonderfully. Whoever is in charge of Olympian Labs' marketing is guilty of MURDER if any cancer patients have been deceived into buying their product.

I liked capsules easier to swallow. My hands have no pain but I feel some what bad because this calcium is taken from alive coral somewhere on this planet. Calcium from minerals give me kidney stones my other option is calcium from seaweed that work's too.
