Worked perfectly on my Mercedes 2003 SL500
Worked perfectly. Easy enough to install, was put in a Mercedes 2003 SL500. Took less than an hour. Fixed the problem, and turned of my check engine light. A historic day in my house when I was able to do that on my own!

Satisfied
My car, ml430, started stalling when driving slowly, or stopping. However not consistently.I stopped trusting Mercedes Benz dealerships. In the past I realized, that when a problem occurs inconsistently, they replace a lot of parts ending up paying them arm and a leg. I even had to solve one of the problems by myself, because they said that they do not know why my air conditioner stops working after it gets too hot outside. I paid them $700. A year after they tried to solve the problem I looked at the fuse and noticed that there was a fine line crack that was a little burnt out. I replaced the fuse and from that day everything is good.I tried to solve the problem in the following manner:1 Check the fuses and relays.2. I replaced the Crank Position Sensor, that can cause the symptoms. It cost about $40 in amazon. It did not solve the problem.3. I replace the Mass Airflow Sensor. My car is running now for 3 weeks with no problem. Still crossing my fingers!!!

Perfect replacement part
When the check engine light came on in my wife's SL500 I figured I was going to get knocked for the usual 1K+ Mercedes Benz minimum dealer service charge, but I wanted to armed with a little information before I took it in. Off to the local auto parts store. Reading the OBD2 codes the friendly guy told me it was the Air Mass Sensor. A little more research made me think I could change it myself. And I did. Along with the air filters. I figure I saved a whole boatload of money - and I was more careful taking the shroud on and off than MB had been in the past, so I felt better about the job I did compared to the job they might have done. Anyway, I highly recommend this product which installed easily, functions perfectly and is much cheaper than you could get it done at the dealer.

Great seller! Great MAF sensor!
This is more of a review of the seller, than the product. I received a defective MAF sensor, which is rare for any Bosch product. The vendor promptly responded and sent a new one. Now my Mercedes ML430, the V-8 performance model for that year, is running awesome! MAF sensors control fuel to air mixtures and my performance was dropping gradually, slowly enough that I didn’t really notice. I thought my car was just getting tired. After replacing, my acceleration is surprisingly quick and responsive. I forgot how fast it is... performance restored!!

DO NOT BUY THIS AIR MASS SENSOR!
DO NOT BUY THIS AIR MASS SENSOR! I had very negative experience with quality of this product and want to warn anyone who like me thought it was a bargain, but purchased and item proved to be a very unfortunate mistake and HUGE WASTE of MONEY and TIME!- FALSE DESCRIPTION – buy the original air mass sensor from the dealership rather than here, the item bought here will never work and you will end up needing to purchase original- BAD RETURN POLICY - amazon is giving you only 30 days to return it, when purchasing original would only cost you $20-$30 more and you will get full 12 month warranty on that thing.- BAD PRODUCT QUALITY - it is takes time for this sensor to settle in the car. You need more than 30 days to see that the sensor is not working. When you do discover it, your 30days money back guarantee with Amazon is gone and you end up with FAULTY PRODUCT that you just WASTED YOUR TIME and MONEY.- FRAUD and MISLEADING – product is not performing what and how it is suppose to be. It will only make your car operate worse that it was with the your old air mass sensor.- Possible FAKE MANUFACTURER and FRAUDULENT USE OF BOSCH LABELING on the PRODUCT - the authentic and original manufacturer’s product would not be performing this badly. As I had to see and compare the performance of the Bosch sensor I bought from Amazon( make my car 1000 times worse) and later on the ORIGINAL that was installed by a professional mechanic.- $ 225!!!EXTRA MONEY NEED TO BE SPEND ON REMOVING THIS FAULTY PRODUCT AND INSTALLING ORIGINAL ONE. After professional mechanic discovered that the air mass filer purchased at Amazon was faulty and possible fake, I had to pay for labor $175 and original air mass sensor(not purchased from online)$150I bought this air mass sensor and from the beginning it was acting funny, not right, the car would shake and pull when driving. Well, it is believed that you need to give air mass sensor sometime to adjust to the car and get it settled, but the longer I wanted the worse my car was driving with this “New Air Mass Sensor”. I went to a professional mechanic , and what appeared to be is that SENSOR was FAULTY! My mechanic changed for a new air mass sensor and ever since the car is running smoothly. Try to contact Amazon explaining this is faulty product and I want my money back, but they refuse to refund my money. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT EVER BE FOOLED THAT YOU CAN GET A GOOD AIR MASS SENSOR for 20 dollars CHEAPER! This is BAD PRODUCT!

Buy from Amazon only. Exact OEM part received.
Worked great for my 1999 E430 4Matic.Seems like some of the bad reviews happened when the part was ordered from a third party.I ordered this part directly from Amazon and got it the same day. I received a genuine Bosch box with a halographic sticker sealing it. The part came nicely wrapped in wax paper and had protective caps on both ends.I had a P0170 fault code stored. I replaced the sensor and cleared the fault. I wanted to put some miles on the car before writing a review. It's been 3 weeks so far and I drove about 850 miles. I checked the vehicle for possible faults today and found no active or stored faults. Problem fixed!

Worked great
My 14 year old benz was starting to stall and run rough, and having known from the past it was likely the air mass sensor. The codes I pulled out of the OBD diagnostic tool seemed to confirm it. Well, I had replaced the air mass sensor before, and know how expensive air mass sensors are, especially from the Dealer!I tried the knockoff ebay Air mass sensor. It was no joy. While it did work better than the my now faulty one.... I would get a check engine light after a few days.I got the genuine OEM bosch unit from Amazon.... and I have been running smooth since then. Replaced it myself, since it wasn't hard to do with directions available on the internet. I learned my lesson about getting knockoff electronics.
