I live in a town that doesn't use plastic bags. I ordered 1000 so my small garbage cans, turkey carcasses and fruit rinds are secure before putting them in my Hefty bag. Also I fold the bag in half lengthwise, then another 1/2 or thirds, roll it from the bottom to the handles, stuff them into a small 'cosmetic bag' and attach it to my purse so I always have a bag when shopping.

There isn't a lot to say about a T-shirt bag except they work great for my purposes. We live in one of the states that have banned plastic bags in an effort to "save the planet". Simple plastic bags like this are certainly not single use for many of us. When the plastic bags first came out it was an effort to stop using paper to save the trees.We use these bags repeatedly until they finally tear. They are heavier plastic than the bags we used to get at Walmart or grocery stores so they can be used several times if care is taken to not let sharp corners poke through them.I have a small trash can and line it with one of these for use scooping out the kitty litter box. I have never had one of these bags break even though I may scoop the litter several days in a row into the same bag. They will hold a considerable amount of weight.
