Comfortable, protects the surface and easy to clean

Not only do I have these in my 2 desks, I also use them to protect my dresser tops!

The Product itself is just what I wanted for my computer desk. In fact I would have given it five stars. There is more than enough room for the keyboard, mouse and a writing area. My complaint is that the ends of the mat tend to curl upward off the desk. I am rolling the mat in the opposite direction for a day to see if they will reform and stay flat. If not the product is going back. This is an update. I did roll the mat in the opposite direction. I secured it with the strap that is supplied by the manufacturer. I placed the mat on a hard surface (floor) with the seam side facing down. I left it in that position for two days. The location selected should be a warm area. The ends no longer curl up. I would now give it 5 stars instead of the original two.

Color and size were perfect. But, even with weights on the corners it took 6+ months for the mat to completely lay flat

The desk pad was packed well for shipping. Once unrolled, it flattened out nicely. I tested writing on the pad with one piece of paper on top using two types of pen, a fine point, and a gel ball pen. Both wrote on the paper fine, even though there is a very fine texture on the surface. I found I could keep my wrists and arms on the surface for an extended time without feeling that the surface was tacky to my skin. I had no problems with condensation from a cold water glass I left on the surface. It wiped off easily and left no marks on the surface. I have only had one day's experience with this pad so far, but am very pleased to have purchased this pad.

Since there were some negative reviews about how the pad doesn't lay flat completely, I was pretty nervous about ordering this. I ended up biting the bullet and waited, as soon as I saw how it was packaged (which it was rolled up in a long box) my heart sunk so I took it upstairs in my office/studio and tried to see how much of it would tent up and not lay flat on my custom table I just finished assembling.The result of it from being rolled up was not cool but I decided to try something and ended up getting a hair dryer and turned it up on the highest heat setting, from there I started to spot treat the tented up parts and everything started to lay down flat!! and a plus it made it stay in place but no stickiness! You can use a heat gun too but just enough to get the troublesome parts to lay down flat!I'm happy with my purchase and will update if anything changes, plus I'll try to upload a photo as well.

I knew when I ordered the pad I would have to cut it down. Well, with sharp scissors and being very careful, it was easy to resize. It arrived rolled up and after a few days it is starting to flatten out. I really like it.

The mat looks beautiful, but my biggest problem is the edges are pretty sharp, and since my wrist rubs against it a lot, it got pretty irritated after a while. To make matters worse, the edges started to wear after 6 months, leaving a jagged edge that became even more unbearable when my wrist rubbed against it. If they made a version with a softer or rounded edges, I would definitely buy it again because it really looks great otherwise.
