Cant beat name brand
I used generic toner before. It looks good at first, and the cost savings are great, but let me tell you it's short lived. I had problems with generic ink smearing and just coming out chalky. I tried several different brand too. But HP toner has never let me down! I print a LOT of legal documents. Quality is second to none! I do wish it was cheaper though.

I have purchased a number of these toners for my HP printer and have never had a problem and the ink lasts a lot longer than the printer indicates.

IF OWN AN HP PRINTER YOU HAVE NO CHOICE
HP has everyone over a barrel, the cost of the printer is reasonable but the cost of the toner is costly. You wind of paying more for toner replacement than the cost of printer and you cannot use a generic toner, the printer won't work.

Good quality ink that last long
I just believe that this is a better way to go, this particular printer only takes black ink and the ink carry lasts a lot longer than one that also has color. I now have two printers, for different jobs, in an attempt to save on ink. The ink is so expensive it’s ridiculous. Dollar to dollar it costs more than caviar. I tried switching to the generic link in an attempt to save money but that didn’t work my HP printer stopped working. So I do not recommend anybody using generic ink because it jams up your printer. Using a laser jet printer that only takes black ink is a way to save, but HP still charges us too much for the ink cartridge. Also when you purchase on Amazon there is no way to recycle the used cartridge, I feel very concerned about the environment and so I’m accumulating all these used cartridges and I have no idea what to do with them.
