HP Envy 5010 All-in-One Printer, 2 Months of Instant Ink Trial Included

The printer itself is not too big and looks good. The paper sits in a tray underneath which keeps it very neat. It can print double-sided, borderless, and the print quality is decent for the price.Installation was easy. I was a bit worried about the WiFi connection given many complaints from other reviewers. I've been using this now for a couple of months and haven't had any issues, we've printed easily from phones, tablets and laptops over WiFi. So easy and no cables!The HP ink subscription is optional. We have low usage so opted for the free subscription which allows you to print 15 pages per month FREE for the lifetime of the printer! Further pages are charged at 1 pound for ten pages. Hp send the ink cartridges in the post before you run out. There are other subscription levels depending on your use. All in all I'd say its very convenient and value for money.Highly recommend!

I find this printer is really great and does all I need it to do, print, copy and scan. It provides clear printing and colour. My last printer eventually broke down and I was lost not having a printer,and had to email my work to my office which was not convenient. I like the dimensions of this printer which is squat and neat and fits really well into the corner of my desk. It's easy to operate and I like the clarity of the control panel display. I haven't had to change the ink cartridges yet, but it looks simple enough. A really good buy and good quality for the money.

I bought this off the strength of a couple of reviews. The print quality is excellent and the ability to scan documents and send them (when this feature works) is really useful.What's good about it:Print quality in colour and B&W is excellent.The printing is quick and relatively quiet. It will print double-sided and it is not noisy.It scans documents well and then you can send them to a variety of devices using the app.The HP proprietary app, when it works, is fairly user friendly and does what you need it too.What's not good:I'm good with tech and out of the box the printer took a while to set up.The wifi connection is glitchy as hell and even now I have established it is temperamental at best, and often drops if the printer is idling.If you are scanning large documents more than 10 pages, you often have to do this in batches.Sometimes it just stops working for no reason.The app is nicely designed, but like the printer, is extremely temperamental and not particularly intuitive.It's an ugly piece of black, Chinese made, plastic sitting at the end of my kitchen table. Doesn't affect the performance, but it is not pretty to look at!I haven't changed the ink yet, but looking at some of the reviews and prices of ink I can tell this is going to be an expensive faff!

What an amazing printer for such a cheap price. This was really easy to set up, just install an app on your phone, plug in the printer and the app takes you right through the quick and easy set up. Couldn't be simpler.Also, the instant ink option is brilliant. I highly recommend it. I suggest go for the 300 page plan at first for your 2 free months. Then put in code BMMRt for an extra month, then code FREEINK for another month free.That's a total of 4 free months of 300 pages per month. It is so quick and easy to change your plan too so you can cancel or change plan before you are charged at the end of your trial.... and did I mention what a fantastic little printer it is :)

The HP Envy 5010 is the best printer I think I have ever purchased in my life, It has everything you need for a casual to moderate user. setting up is as easy as installing an app and turning the printer on and following the instructions, after installing the cartridges and aligning the printer your good to go.I received 6 months of instant ink with this printer (offer came with purchase) which was 2 months of instant ink at 300 pages per month then the 4 months were given extra in the form of £8.00 prepaid onto my HP account which is for the £1.99 subscription of 50 pages per month.depending on the usage it would be beneficial to use the promotion of instant ink and then cancel the subscription after and purchase your own ink (it takes 304 or 304XL).printer quality is great for this printer the lines are clean and no blurring or pixellating of the larger words, I have yet to try photo paper with this printer but I'm sure the quality will also be great.

Brilliant printer/scanner for general office use. I got it with the 12-month Instant Ink trial (700 pages per month with rollover) which makes it absolutely staggering value for money...I'll certainly continue the service once it runs out. Colour accuracy is quite a way off which does affect colour prints/photos, but I had it calibrated which more-or-less sorts that out.I mainly use it for general document printing but also use it for testing full page, full colour prints/illustrations, plus prints on printable sticker vinyl and the quality is very good indeed. Full resolution prints can take a long time though - several minutes for an A4 sheet. No separate feed for special papers which is a shame, and the paper tray is very small so can only hold a few dozen sheets.Overall for the price paid though I have no complaints.
