Smaller than I thought. Tons of info about batteries. Can turn off the beeps!
I was looking for something to charge my NP-FZ100 batteries. I bought the Sony charger but it's only good for one battery and given the battery capacity for mirrorless cameras I was concerned about having to charge at least two batteries when I got back to the hotel room at night. The Sony charger was nearly $100. This one is $35. You'll have to buy a QC3.0 compatible charger to get the maximum speed out of this but it seems to do OK on a regular Anker USB 5 volt charger, it will certainly be fine for overnight charges. If I find I need to go faster I can buy a new QuickCharge charger later.I love the display. Very informative and let you know exactly what's going on. You can boost the charge to one battery if you need it quicker but it's like a 75%/25% split. I wish there was a way to charge batteries in sequence so you could get one quicker and have the other one start automatically after the first was done. It would also be nice if there was a display for "time until charged".The ability to turn the display down is very nice but even more important is the ability to turn off the beeps. There are beeps when you insert and remove batteries. There are beeps for button presses. There is a very noticeable beep when batteries finish charging. You can't miss it if you are in the same room. If you need to know the second your batteries hit 100%, the beep is nice. If you are planning to charge over night in a hotel room, those charging-finished beeps are probably going to wake you up :).It's much smaller than I thought. One reviewer commented that it could be smaller but I don't see how. There isn't a lot of wasted space. It could be thinner but the minimum size is dictated by the sizes of the batteries.Speaking of batteries... I also have NP-BX1 batteries and it's so great that I can now travel with one charger for both kinds of batteries. One more comment. The cable that comes with it is a USB-A to USB-C. That can be annoying if you bought a USB-C charger only to find out you can't plug this cable into it. I may (or may not) have some experience in that department-Amazon Returns, here I come.Time will tell but so far I'm pretty happy. I'll be back if that changes.

Kills NP-FZ100 batteries
This charger destroyed 3 of my NPF-Z100 batteries, costing me $200+ to replace them.I loved this charger at first: great display, fast charging time, etc. But after my camera kept shutting down whenever it was bumped, I noticed that it was doing that only on the batteries where the contacts were damaged. After I bought replacement batteries (official Sony), I charged them and saw that one of the BRAND NEW batteries was now damaged, and the contacts were messed up. I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it for myself! This charger will cost you much more money than you will save in buying it!

Dual charging, triple battery type support, great set of features. Recommended!
I have owned this charger for 11 months. I have put it through many dozens of battery charging cycles, and so far, it has performed flawlessly. I happen to have Sony cameras accepting all three types of supported batteries: NP-BX1, NP-FW50, NP-FZ100. I find it convenient that this device allows me to replenish two batteries simultaneously, plus I can also mix and match different types! This charger sports a color LCD, which is bright and easy to read. With a simple button push operation, you can see the current charging info: voltage, resistance, etc., it puts out to the battery, but most important for me: it shows the battery health rating. I do appreciate this last feature. I find it super helpful to know when to replace an aging battery and/or not get caught with a dead camera while out there shooting. As for the downsides... The unit comes with a USB-C to USB A cable in the box. If you have a more modern USB-C charger, you will need to invest in a separate USB-C to USB-C cable. That was not a big deal for me, but I feel it has to be pointed out. One more thing, I can not seem to make it work with QC chargers. I am not sure which device is at fault here, but a couple of QC 3 rated chargers I have and tried do not make any difference at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Having said that, I am pretty happy with my purchase and would highly recommend every serious Sony camera owner to give it a try.Pros:* Works equally well charging three types of Sony batteries: NP-BX1, NP-FW50, NP-FZ100* Simultaneous and independent dual charging* Modern, bright display, showing a bunch of helpful info, including battery health rating* Easy, straightforward operations* Audible beep signal confirming button presses, battery insertion/removal, and marking the end of charging cycleCons:* Comes with USB-C to USB A cable only* QC might not be working as expected
