Works perfectly and a breeze to assemble
Put simply - it works.And for those having problems breaking off the end, the solution is simple.1. Get the cheap vice grips set from Harbor Freight (you should have it around anyway for home projects.2. clamp down one just above the crimp on the end you want to break off.3. Clamp the other one on about a half inch away on the side you want to keep. This allows you to bend it without the vice grips colliding.4. Start bending back and forth just a little. Metal fatigue will quickly take care of the rest.

Fits the bill for my filing cabinet.
Materials seem to be robust enough to hold the weight of files over a 24" rail length. As far as being able to adjust to fit by removing excess rail length with a pliers, you'd be better off scoring or cutting at the predetermined marks than to use a pliers. I myself clamped it in a vise and rocked it back and forth until it broke off at the measured mark.

These didn’t fit my letter size file cabinet
Didn’t fit my file cabinet. And the provided pre indentation areas did not remove enough to fit my letter size file cabinet And it was a nightmare to cut them to fit

I have an old file cabinet with missing hangers. Almost threw away my cabinet until I found these and they were a perfect fit. I highly recommend.
