Will this light dry and harden UV glues, like those used in fly tying?

Works great for the "Damn Good" brand UV glue. I used it to fix a broken pair of glasses. The frame around one lens had broken, and I couldn't get new frames for the existing lenses. Just made the mend last night. I'm not certain how long an exposure ti takes--I gave it about 2 minutes. The glue's surface was still a little soft, but an hour later it was completely hard. Quite a bright light and I would be careful not to expose your skin or eyes to the beam. I will use it for fly tying as well and expect it will work very well.

how long to completely cure and what brand of uv resin has anyone used with this light?

works great with loon, solraez, gulff probably the fastest. Average cure 10-20 seconds is my estimate, get a good 18650 battery though.

One part of the description indicates it operates up to the 405 nm another says only up to 395 which is it?

There is 2 available nm that I know of. 365 and 395. 395 has a more purple more intense beam. Better for resins and glow stuff. 365 has a less visible beam better for seeing uv marks or ink doesn’t work as well for drying resin or charging glow in the dark stuff
