The lights work great, just follow the initial charging instructions
These lights look great on the fence. They provide a dramatic enhancement to evening enjoyment. It is important that you follow the directions and let the lights charge in full sun 8 hrs before using. So I tested to make sure they worked with the small pin upon arrival. Then I turned them back off with the small pin and allowed them to fully charge before installation. When ready to install, use the small pin in the back and turn it back on. Cover the solar part with your hand and make sure the light comes on and then install. We installed 11 on our back concrete fence. We did have to use a hammer drill to install into the concrete. We marked the holes by holding up the light and used a Sharpie to mark the holes. Since install, it has rained for 4 days straight and then finally a sunny day, and as of last 3 nights, all 11 come on flickering and looking wonderful. 3 are installed under a large tree and even with filtered sunlight, they are charging and lighting up just fine. The key is charging correctly as per directions prior to installation.

Buy them today!
LOVE THESE! Exactly as described. Bright and beautiful and a great addition to our outside ambiance. Everyone needs these. I did not use the screws to attach, I simply used velcro, the lights are lightweight so it worked perfectly with velcro so there was no reason to put holes in our siding.

Takes a dunking and keeps on flickering!
I bought these solar flame flicker lights for our sailboat before we left Florida for the Bahamas. My wife thought they were a waste of money, and rolled her eyes at me.As the confidence in their longevity wasn’t exactly high, I mounted them temporarily with zip-ties. 2 on the bow rail and 2 on the rear solar arch.Ok, she’s coming around. They look kinda cool out there. Sure makes it easier for other boaters to see us at night while we’re at anchor.3 months into our Bahamas cruise and the weather has been horrid. We may have had 4 weeks of nice sunny days this whole time. Little did I know it was just beginning.Last week crossing from one island group to another, the conditions got bad. Real bad. Imagine riding in a washing machine bad. The wind and the waves didn’t match so we were tossed like a dog playing with a rag doll, for over 6 hours. The picture attached showing the bow going underwater was just as the seas were getting bad. It got a whole lot worse. But wait. There’s more!Today, just after we set the anchor after traveling for the day, a particularly nasty storm was forming right overhead. Long story short, we were hit by a waterspout.(A waterspout is a tornado on the water)The wind and the rain was so bad it blew us nearly 90° over, our toe rail was almost in the water. It was total whiteout conditions. After that ordeal, we looked on the weather radar and we can see the clear circle of the tornado just after it passed over us (pictured). It’s finally calmed down and we’re sitting in the cockpit decompressing from the experience and my wife looks at me and says “ok, I stand corrected. Those silly lights aren’t total garbage after all. I’d buy them again, but as you can see, I don’t need to!The flicker lights picture is from tonight.Recommend 100%!

These look really realistic
These are some seriously cool looking lights! The lights really look like flames. You have to get within a few feet to tell they aren’t. They come on every evening and I’ve noticed them still going in the morning before the sun comes up. They get about 6 hours of direct sunlight each day. They aren’t the brightest thing. Mine are mounted at 6’ high and five just enough light to not trip over your feet in the dark. I’m sure it would be better if they were lower.

Something has happened to the quality of these lights
I purchased a set of these lights in 2021 and they were phenomenal. They stayed lit for many hours after sunset- usually to about 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning. However, after 3 years in the Florida sun they started to look a little weathered, so I opted to move them to a more remote section of my yard and buy a new set. But this new set is horrible. They don’t stay lit for more than a few hours at night. I thought perhaps it was due to the shorter days during winter months. But putting the in direct full sun all day doesn’t help. To add insult to injury the old set are still shinning brightly hours after this new set goes out for the night.

Looks great, but quality…
Lights look great and perform as expected. One out of eight lights didn’t work properly, and no way to contact the seller.

Great product. I have many types solar outdoor flares. These are the best.
I have several different types of dancing flame outdoor solar lights and these are the brightest and best of my collection. They were simple to mount to the side of my house with tiny tack nails. And they are really bright and dance beautifully. They only last 6 hours but that is likely because the solar panel is small which I need and also nailed to side of house means only day sunlight. Definitely highly recommend if you don't mind that they won't last 10 hours. I wish I had a video to show the dancing of the flame. It's utterly gorgeous. 5 stars all the way
