We used this book in deacon’s class. It was a quick read. It offered several insight into a deacon’s life. It provided both information and anecdotes.

As a new candidate for Deacon in a Baptist Church, I really enjoyed this book. I especially like that it was written from a pastors point of view. It was educational as far as the qualifications, duties, of a Deacon.

Every church member should know what to expect of a deacon. This book will open your eyes to the role and responsibilities of a Deacon. A great price for such valuable information.

The book was in great shape upon arrival and the content was very helpful as our deacon board is preparing for our new 2018-2019 season. Very good reminders of the biblical foundation of deacons and the relationships between deacons and the pastor, as well as deacons and church members.

This was a very good book for providing insight into the role and responsibilities of a deacon. Although the book was written some time ago the insights/instruction are still very useful for any man considering to serve as a deacon. I high recommend this book for both pastors, deacons and other leaders in the church.
