Crimson Queen Weeping LACE Leaf Japanese Maple - Acer palmatum dissectum 'Crimson Queen' 3 - Year Live Plant

I was impressed with the size of the plant when it arrived. It is about 18 inches tall and has lots of leaves. It looks healthy and is going to be perfect!

Arrived Broken Branches and the main "trunk" cut off. It looks like it was taken from the trash pile. Update- I returned the tree and was given a full refund.

This plant is not even close to how the picture on their Amazon page shows.Very tiny thin stem plant with all leaves dried out. packaging was very poor .Seller was very accurate in issuing full refund when returned .

It was so small for the price you can pick a larger one for the same price. Other wise it was a cute one lets see how it grows.

I am always nervous to order plants online, but this little tree arrived in perfect condition. It is healthy, beautiful, and hearty!!!

2 months post purchase update - changing my initial review from 3 to 4 stars. The plant has grown nicely and quickly.Just a note to the people who complained they got a twig - please use common sense when buying trees online. If you are getting a 1-3 year old tree, think of how quickly a tree can grow in that amount of time in the wild. You are not going to get what you see in the pictures. You'll get a seedling with a couple of branches. Maples, and most trees, take many years to grow. Is this false advertising? In a way, but as a consumer you also want to know what the end product looks like, so you have to use your imagination and common sense to translate what you see in the picture to what you read in the description.Product: It is a 3 year old seedling as clearly stated in the description, so no surprises there. The Crimson Queen is grafted to a different maple variety at the stem, which is a common technique done to provide plants with a stronger stock from which to grow. Some varieties of trees can only be grown by this technique. The grafting looked nicely done and well pasted over.It is impossible to determine the health of the plant as it was shipped while still dormant.One thing that surprised me is that it looks like the grower chopped off the stem a few inches above the grafting spot. This may have been done to shorten the length required to ship, or maybe it broke in transit. Either way, I am uncertain this will survive given there is just a 2 inch nub left above the graft. I shall have to wait after it sprouts to see if it will survive.Shipping/Packaging: Plant arrived in a timely fashion through the USPS. I would give packaging a 2/5. It was packaged with its nursery pot and dirt, but the grower did not take the time to enclose the pot in a plastic bag, so the dirt was all over the place. I would recommend to the grower/merchant to take the time to put the root system and pot in a bag so your plants tops don’t sit in wet soil while in transit.To the people who are not satisfied they did not receive a mature and well-aged tree, please understand you are purchasing a 3 year seedling. 3 year seedlings are small. Your tree may look like the product images in 15+ years. When you purchase from online growers, take note of the age and pot size in the description if provided. These can give you an indication of size.

Got here healthy and with leaves. Very happy with it.
